Conveniently located as it is only minutes from Singing Sands, 10 minutes from Tobermory and 10 minutes from the Bruce Trail highlights such as Little Cove and Cyprus Lake. Cottage is nicely kept and close to the Huron shoreline. Although the cottage is labeled ?the Lookout? the actual views are limited as it is set back from the lake and nestled behind trees which obscure most of the views. Inside is spacious with numerous bedrooms, large eating area but the washrooms can be a little cramped.
Cottage is definitely not child friendly as the 2nd floor balcony?s rail has large gaps through which a small child can fall through. The same can be said for the living room rail that surrounds the basement stairwell. Would be nice if a canoe/water toys were included since the shoreline entry is generally clear of rocks with a nice shallow entry.

The cottage was warm and welcoming, clearly well taken care of. Its location was ideal for our purposes: a short distance from Singing Sands beach and easy access to many hiking trails. The cottage offered an inviting spot to return to at the end of the day, as well as a quiet beach of its own that the children enjoyed.
