This was our family's first time renting a cottage and I believe we picked the perfect little spot to unwind. This L'Do Cottage had just about everything a family of 4 could need for a week away from home. The view from the back sun porch was absolutely spectacular. My husband and I would begin every morning with a coffee out by the water, listening to the waves lap against the rocks and watching the early morning sailors. My only disappointment was that we didn't have access to the washing machine in the cottage. I took one trip into the town laundromat or I would wash our clothes by hand. My husband's only dissappointment was we didn't have access to the owner's canoes; we had to rent those. We hope to be back next summer creating more memories. Yours truly, Brad & Tamara from Kitchener, Ont.

We had been to the area before and decided that it may be nice to spend time at a cottage. Each person has his or her own tastes but we were very very happy when we came into the cottage and saw that it was neat and clean and very comfortable. The view was simply beautiful and for two people it was the perfect size to be cozy and comfortable. It was private and yet close to the town itself and not far from any site seeing we wanted. We had all that we needed in the cottage. I enjoy cooking and there was more than enough room to do that as well as relax. We were so pleased that we are planning to come back next year as well. It was a wonderful experience all around.

This was our first vacation at This L Do, and we were pleasantly surprised.
This cozy cottage had all the ammenities that we needed. This was a perfect retreat....far enough away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Tobermory, but still close enough for evening treks to watch the Chi-Chi-Mon set sail while eating ice cream cones!
We all enjoyed swimming throughout the days, and relaxed at the firepit for evening camp fires.
We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a "real" cottage experience!

We were happy with the cottage and the location. The sunsets were beautiful with swimming right outside the cottage, very short drive into tobermory or a nice walk. Very quiet area. It was well stocked for things to do (Some books, movies, puzzles and toys)and the kitchen had everything that we needed. The deck and sunroom are this cottages best features. The only downside is that is not the best property for small children. The cottage is used by the family as well and had alot of things for small hands to touch. The gas stove was nice for cool nights but a hazard for children. All and all a great cottage and property.

My boyfriend, now husband stayed for a wonderful week in Tobermory. It was quiet and calm. One day, we were able to watch the storm, it was perfect
I would recommend this place to anyone who wants time out from the daily routine and wish to enjoy the cottage air and enjoy the simpler things in life.
