Cottage Profile Expansive, 1600 square foot 3 bedroom waterfront cottage located at Warner Bay just outside of Tobermory on the shores of Lake Huron. Formerly run as a B & B, the cottage has plenty of space to afford everyone in your group a bit of personal space. Its numerous nooks and crannies provide plenty of options for a great reading spot. A new addition at one end of the cottage is a multi-purpose room with a small glass table and four chairs, as well as a love seat and a few chairs around the television with satellite and a DVD player. French doors lead from this room out onto the lakeside deck where a BBQ is available to help prepare your summer meals. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher. Plenty of counter and cupboard space provide a pleasant area for cooking your meals, and the breakfast bar is a great place for a casual meal or a cup of coffee. A more formal dining area is available on the other side of the kitchen. This portion of the cottage is the original part of the building, and the wood panelling helps to create a 'cottage' atmosphere. A large dining room table comfortably seats all eight in the party, so your family is able to sit down and enjoy a meal together. Also in this part of the cottage is a quiet sitting area. With a love seat and three chairs surrounding the beautiful stone fireplace, this is the ideal spot to sit and enjoy a book while there is also a television located here if you want some TV time to yourself. A four piece bathroom is located on the lower level of the cottage. All three bedrooms are located on the second floor of the cottage. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed, a four-piece ensuite bathroom, and french glass doors that lead out to a private balcony with patio furniture. The second bedroom has a double bed and a three-piece ensuite with shower, while the third bedroom has a double bed as well as a set of bunkbeds with a single over double. Yet another four-piece bathroom is also located on this floor. Outside of the cottage, you can enjoy the fire pit in the evening. With a view of both Lake Huron and the stars in the sky, you can relax and trade ghost stories. The shoreline is flat limestone rock, with gradual entry in the water making it easy to access the water at the cottage. The scenic village of Tobermory is located 12 km away. Take a drive into town and stroll through the shops in the village, visit the library, restaurants and the beautiful natural harbour, or take a scenic boat cruise where you can view shipwrecks, lighthouses and visit Flowerpot Island. Also, dinner cruises aboard the Chi-Cheemaun are very popular. For hikers, naturalists and scuba divers, the area is a dream. A 10 minute drive away, guided tours are available along the Niagara Escarpment, or along the sandy shores of Singing Sands on Lake Huron. Amphitheater programs are available at Cyprus Lake at dusk and are informative and entertaining. It is also a 22 km round trip on paved roads to bike into town.
Additional amenities include: kayak with paddle, fully winterized, life jackets (various sizes), television (32" & 26"), 1 set of bunkbeds with a double on the bottom and single on the top, deck area: 120 square feet, number of baths: 4; 3 four-piece bathrooms, beds: 1 queen, and 1 three-piece with a shower, wireless highspeed lite internet, picnic table), patio furniture (patio table, cd player, umbrella, number of bedrooms : 3, 2 doubles, outdoor fire pit, 8 chairs, water: well water, floor area: 1600 square feet, electric baseboard heating, 2 muskoka chairs....Read more

We have rented a different cottage each summer in Tobermory (from rentcottage.com) for several years now and they have all been great, but this is the first time everyone in our family said "we want this one again next year". The layout is perfect for spending time together, but also with so much space there is enough room for everyone to be comfortable when doing their 'own thing'. In addition, 4 full washrooms ensures there are never any conflicts, even with a full house.
The kitchen was fully stocked and received an a+ rating from our chefs. Also, with the kitchen's close proximity to the deck we ate the majority of our meals outside. That's another great feature of this cottage. Outside, everything is close. The lake, the fire pit, the deck. Many cottages on Warner Bay require you to take a small hike to get to the shore or fire pit. Not Villa Nosta. It's perfectly situated.
I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this cottage.
Everyone loved it, and we are ready to reserve again for 2013.

We (grandparents) our daughter and two tween grandsons spent a wonderful week in Villa Nosta. The villa had every amenity you heart desires and the location is great (remember to take beach shoes for the rocky shore). The corner bakery is worth a daily visit (you are on vacation...try the coconut cream pie!). Paddle boarding in the waves was bit of a challenge but definitely exciting. We all felt very sad to leave but thanks for the great memories VN especially for the beautiful sunsets.

Our vacations at this cottage was really great.
The owners are really taking very good care of the cottage and the cottage is very well equipped.
Cottage was very spacious, has a lot of room and great view on the lake. Dear owners - Thank you again for letting us rent your paradise. Dear company - thank you for providing great services.

Our visit was very pleasant; the home was well supplied - we didn't expect the drinking water set-up - thank you! There was no interference from the owner/agency - very mature.
The internet access was excellent. I wish we would have had trash pickup. The BBQ was not clean and user unfriendly. We spent a lot of time in & about the fire pit. The rental fee was fair and I hope that we can return. The rental agency needs to be thanked - they replied promptly to questions and were friendly. Good experience!

We rented the Villa Nosta in August 2009. We stayed there with our 2 kids and both sets of grandparents. The cottage was pefect for the 8 of us, lots of room, there was plenty of space so it never felt crowded. You can tell it was a former B&B with all the bathrooms!
The cottage had great amenities: inside, the kitchen had everything you could possibly need and the outside there were plenty of seats, loungers for the 8 of us. The kids loved the boat and the fire pit.
The location of the cottage was also excellent, the sunsets were spectacular and the cottage was close to Tobermory, Singing Sands Beach, Little Cove and the Bruce Penninsula park, so lots to do.
The water at the cottage was nice but you definitely need water shoes and the stones are sharp. The kids loved all the rock pools and searching for fish.
I definitely would go back to this cottage again. It's a great cottage for a big family or even two families. Loved it!
