Additional Location Information

The Borgo is the perfect place to go picking mushrooms and berries, not to mention truffles with the right dog. Horse riding available within walking distance. Todi is only a few km away, with plenty of activities, ranging from music and traditional food festivals to antique trade expositions. Deruta and its traditional pottery trade is well worth a visit. Some of the best chefs of the country work in the area, and dining in ancient castles is always possible throughout the year. Orvieto is not far, a daily trip is always recommended, especially during the Jazz Festival. Plenty of other curiosities in the aerea, such as the smallest theatre in the world, a miniature traditional opera theatre with an active season; walking tracks over the hills, and - for the adventurous - birds and wildlife reserves.
