The beauty of Todos Santos and the Hacienda los Olivos is very deep. The excess of it takes a couple of days to really sink in. And once it clicks, then, very blissful moments begin.
The house is very carefully designed to it's smallest details. The general layout of the house forces you to constantly interact with the surroundings. They compliment each other perfectly and bring the best out of each other. Outdoor showers, outdoor walkways, large terraces overlooking the landscape.... And then the smaller things like bathroom tiles, beautiful lighting throughout, kitchenware, decorations...
Then of course, the actual landscape of Todos Santos and Baja California. Where the desert meets the ocean....incredible! Yet, the small circle of Todos Santos is actually an oasis and therefore you also get the very green vegetation.
The village is wonderful too. A lovely place to go for a walk, have ice cream, have a nice dinner... And yet, not obnoxious at all despite it's many restaurants and boutiques. On the contrary, it all seems to come together very well and a very interesting balance is created between remoteness and accessibility.
This is certainly one of the most beautiful places I've been to and will surely return.

The hacienda is a unique experience in Baja California. The property is lovely and the houses are made with a lot of passion for details. We think it is a perfect place to escape from the european winter. Everything was perfect the last December we stayed for more than 2 weeks in the house, the communication with Sylvie was also perfect! We are sure that we want to come back to this paradise.

Where does one begin to describe the magic of Hacienda Los Olivos? I will preface this by saying that the photos do not do the house and property justice - its even more mesmerizing in person. Sylvie (the home owner) has impeccable taste and attention to details. The home is situated on very lush grounds and the layout is ideal for groups that want to have a sense of privacy but connectedness to the other guests.
Two of the 3 'buildings' within the property have incredible rooftop look outs where one can take in the tropical landscape.
Gillian (the grounds keeper) was extremely gracious and helpful. We loved her two dogs that made us feel very protected on the grounds.
The only cautionary thing I would point out is that renting a suv car is worth the extra money. Many roads (including the one that leads to the house) is not paved whatsoever (but surely made for a fun adventure!) ?
I anxiously await my next visit to Los Olivos and couldn't imagine a trip to Todos Santos staying anywhere else.
Thank you Sylvie for opening up your incredible home to my girlfriends and I! We are still talking about our trip to this day. ?

My boyfriend and I just returned from an amazing week in Todos Santos. Hacienda Los Olivos was perfect for our group of eight. Sylvie was very helpful and easy to work with, Gillian, the caretaker, was lovely and the house was even more beautiful that we could have imagined. There was plenty of room for four couples to have privacy, while the common areas, like the kitchen, the dining room and the fire-pit were large enough to comfortably accommodate all of us and were great for cooking group dinners.
The location is breathtaking, surrounded by huge palms and avocado and mango trees, it's an easy walk to town and a short drive to surfing beaches. The house is equipped with pool toys and sun chairs and an umbrella for the beach, which were really nice to have on hand. We felt comfortable, safe and relaxed for our entire stay. There are three adorable dogs who love company and add to the feeling of protection.
I can't wait to return to the Hacienda and my friends now tell me that I should be in charge of booking all of their travel accommodations from here on out because the house was such a hit. Thanks, Sylvie!

What a wonderful stay! We were 2 couples inviting ourselves to this great little village of Todos Santos. Thanks to this extremely well-done house fully integrated in this magic local spirit. The vibe is amazing, the decor so tasteful. Everything is there and yet so simple. Looking forward to go back there in fall.

My family and I had a very relaxing time in this hacienda. In the quiet of the country, and 5 mns drive from the beach.
The young Mexican couple living on the premises was very helpful. I will strongly recommend this house to my friends. Thank you.
