Casa Amendoa is a fully serviced luxury self-catering villa located on Tofo’s main beach. The villa is so perfectly located as it is on the beach a stone throw from the vibrant Tofo market and the Tofo village but at the same time is tucked away to offer the privacy one hopes on a beach holiday. All the rooms in the house have amazing sea views and each room including the living area have air conditioning.

This luxury self catering villa sleeps 8 in 4 comfortable bedrooms and has been newly refurbished (2014), and has all the modern comforts of a first world homestead, with the added bonus of it’s location – right on Tofo Beach. The beach is accessed down a short flight of stairs, and the market, bars and restaurants of Tofo are a mere 2 minutes walk.

Casa Amendoa is ideal for couples, families, or groups of friends looking for an idyllic beach villa.

Bedroom #1 with queen bed, en-suite bathroom and walk-in dressing room.

Bedroom #3 with twin beds or double bed option and shared bathroom.

Each bedroom includes a large mosquito net. It's possible to fit a baby cot inside the mosquito net of bedroom#1 and #2. (Baby cot provided)

-The house-keeper and his assistant will prepare the house for your arrival. They are also responsible for the daily housekeeping of the house, and other smaller tasks as may be required by you from time to time. They are available with the following working hours: Monday to Sunday : 8am to 6pm.

-The night watcher guarantees your security and is available with the following working hours : Monday to Sunday : 6pm to 8am.

In addition make sure you store your valuables in the 3 safes provided.

Getting around

You can jump in one of the local minivan (chapa) to reach in 30 minutes Inhambane the regional capital. Inhambane airport can be reached by domestic flight from Maputo.

Interaction with guest

At your arrival I won’t be there personally but our agent on the ground Lorien will welcome you, take you to the house, introduce you to the staff and give you the house’s key…. He is fluent in English. In the house you'll find a logbook with all the necessary information to help you to get the most out of your stay in Tofo. If you want to book an ocean safari for example and whatever the nature of the information you need, do not hesitate to contact Lorien or Philipp.

Response from the owner Bonjour Florence, un des atouts de la maison est justement sa localisation à moins d'une minute à pied de l'eau et environ 20 mètres au-dessus de la plage en empruntant quelques marches de ciment. Cette situation en hauteur permet de profiter d'une vue dominante et imprenable sur l'océan, les baleines et la plage tout en garantissant l'intimité que la plupart des vacanciers recherchent lors de leur séjour en famille ou entre amis. Sur les photos on voit très bien que toutes les chambres, le salon et le jardin jouissent d'une vue plongeante sur la plage et l'océan...Le personnel de ménage est réputé serviable et a pour mission entre autres d'aider au transport des bagages lors de l'arrivée et du départ. Concernant les draps et serviettes, ils sont renouvelés régulièrement et le wifi est une connexion ADSL en forfait illimité fourni par la compagnie nationale TDM, ce qui se fait de mieux dans le pays! Enfin je suis désolé que tous nos efforts n'aient pas suffit à vous faire passer de super vacances et je vous prie d'accepter toutes nos excuses.
