Toronto outskirts, centre of the PAN AM cycling

This raised ranch bungalow is situated 20 miles west of Toronto with close access to highways and the countryside. It is suited for families. Eight minutes to the velodrome. Ten minutes from the house is Hilton Falls where you can feed the birds from your hand, roast wieners/sausages on the fire and rent cross country equipment to ski the trails.

In summer it's a great location to relax in your private pool and hot tub after your many activities (the pool is open from May-Oct 1.) Additional Location Information

The MacDonald Cartier HWY 401 is 5 min from the house that leads you into the city or further out into the country. Down the road 20 minutes south is the QEW that takes you east into Toronto or west towards Niagara Falls. The home is located on a crescent with very quiet neighbours. The area has many choices of grocery stores in walking distance. There is a bu stop at the south end of the street on Ontario to take you around. We have our own Wakefield Park that is great for baseball, soccer and football. The variety for restaurants is endless with a Mediterranean restaurant and Coras that specializes in breakfast and dinner. There is a mall across the street with a food court. For all other items the mall has it all, even a Target. To get around a car is a must outside of town. There is a GO train service from Milton that can take you east into Toronto and out east to Oshawa; north to Barrie or Lincolnville. Check the schedule for times as they vary greatly. Once in Toronto there is an extensive subway system and bike rental to get you around. I tried the bikes for a week and found it really helpful and easy.
