“Very warm welcome !” This nice house is beautifully located very near Cisternino, where our teenagers made a lot of friends and could go walking. The welcome of the owners was wounderful and full of helping and even a lot of "food gifts" (home made cakes, frkuits and vegetables from their garden... We had a wonderful time in Valle d'Itria and will certainly come back in summer !!

“Wonderfull !” I went with my family in the Trullo Zuzzu/Vigne Salamina last august. It was the best holiday I have ever done. The place is wonderfull, peacefull and only a few km from the beach. Nicla, the owner, is a very nice person. She always helps you whenever you need. Her husband, Rodolfo, is a very nice cooker. He can prepare for you delicious dinners. It was so nice that I have already booked for next august.

Great villa- Jacuzzi in the garden -High Speed Wi-FI - Walking distance to Town
Antique Charm with a Modern Eye

Loved it! We stayed almost a week and thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful casa. The location is ideal in that it's a short walk to a lovely part of town but also allows you to enjoy complete privacy (for the outdoor shower!) and quiet. The owner, Angelita, is easy to work with, smart and has a great sense of humor. The casa is full of charm without being sentimental; all beds very comfortable and linens are lovely too. Bathroom is well designed and will suit american tastes without sacrificing Italian design. The kitchen/living area is large and open and we cooked several meals easily. Angelita furnished us with essentials and a lovely welcome basket of local goodies to get us started. The terrace/yard is heavenly. There are so many fruit and nut trees and while the cherries were prolific when we were there I can only imagine what it's like when the figs and pomegranates are ripe! The Jacuzzi is great but our favorite outdoor feature was the shower. Plenty of outdoor seating and overhead cover if you want to get out of the sun. Wifi wasn't available when we were there but I think that was just a temporary glitch and you can use the wifi at the history bar from their patio for free (but I'm sure they would appreciate your ordering a coffee). Cisternino is both old world and modern. It isn't at all touristy but can get crowded on weekends as it's well located and seems to attract young as well as older travelers. … see more

Beautiful Property!

We stayed in the trullo over Easter weekend. As the weather was still somewhat cold, we were not able to enjoy the outdoor hot tub, but Nicla had the woodstove burning to warm up the trullo by the time of our arrival. It was very cozy after a long day of travelling! My husband and I slept in the trullo, and my husband's brother and his wife stayed in a separate bedroom up the stairs. The trullo was large enough for the four of us to cook, eat, relax, and drink wine at night. We all enjoyed our stay and missed it as soon as we left to continue our travels elsewhere. Even though spring had just begun, flowers were blooming and lemon & olive trees were in their full glory on the property. One night we had drinks on the rooftop terrace and looked up at the stars. The sky was perfectly clear. We made breakfast each morning and it was warm and sunny enough for us to have our morning meal outside on the terrace as well. The thing we loved the most was the peacefulness (during the mornings we only heard birds chirping, church bells ringing, and the leaves rustling in the breeze) - and the scenery! All you could see for miles was ocean, mountains, and small city-towns in the distance. Nicla and Rudy stayed on the property also while we were there, and that really came in handy during a little adventure we had! They were friendly and hospitable. The property was close to all the areas we wanted to visit during our daytrips, but still allowed us to have tranquil evenings in the comfort of a "home". … see more
