New two bedroom ground floor apartment completed in April 2015. Furnished to the latest in modern Spanish design, the apartment has been equipped with the digital generation in mind, offering fibre-optic WI-FI, Smart LED TV with Blu-ray player and Blue-Tooth/USB Micro system for music.Furthermore for families with young children, the enclosed tiled garden/patio is fully fenced and private offering a secure area to play. It is a secure gated complex with cc tv videophone entry system.A modern apartment complex at the respected and desirable Alameda del Mar, Playa Flamenca, Orihuela Costa, near Torrevieja, Alicante province on the Costa Blanca.The apartment is south facing for Sun throughout the day from mid-morning and well into the evening. There are two swimming pools on the complex, one a very large adult pool and a shallow adjoining young children's pool. The pool area is surrounded by a gated fence so unsupervised toddlers do not roam free into it. The beautifully kept communal gardens offer generous space for sunbathing. A Car is not necessary as all amenities are within walking distance, however if hiring a car there is a covered private parking space by the apartment door. Airport transfers can be arranged at competitive prices versus the taxi-firms. Capacity for up to six persons with Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, one with walk in shower, one double bed, one twin bed. The living area sofa bed can sleep a further two persons. A Travel cot and high chair are available to rent locally.The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, toaster and fridge freezer and all utensils necessary for home cooking. Separate utility room with washing machine and storage.Dining table with four chairs extends to six plus two breakfast barstools. Patio dining table and chairs under the 4.5 x 2.5 meter Toldo (awning). A 'Plancha' (table top grill) is available for outside cooking. Air conditioning – ducted system, modern eco-friendly unit. Satellite TV with all free to air UK TV channels, many in HD. Community TV input offers Spanish channels plus lots more for European visitors.Blu-ray player + library of films.Blue-Tooth Radio/CD player with USB input.Costa Blanca Guides plus a traditional road map for visitors use. Ground floor, ideal for families with young children, elderly and people with mobility problems. Enclosed large non slip tiled private patio area secure and ideal for children to play. Large communal swimming pool and gardens with children's pool. Sun chairs and Sun loungers provided. Cool box with ice blocks is provided to take to the beach or pool. Less than one minute walk to the local SupermarketTwo minute walk to nearest bar/eatery, with fantastic sea viewsFive minutes walk to main bar/dining area.Fifteen minute walk to main Playa Flamenca beaches.Go karting and fun-fair two minute walk.Twenty minute walk to La Zenia boulevard, the biggest shopping complex on the Costa Blanca offering many major names.

Getting around

There is a local bus service that runs in the Orihuela region and also a bus service from Punta Prima (1km walk) that runs throughout Torrevieja region. Bus can be taken from Alicante Airport to Torrevieja. Taxis are plentiful, numbers available in welcome folder in the apartment. There is no rail service locally.

Interaction with guest

Paul Morgan our keyholder will meet and greet you, showing you around the apartment upon arrival (if not collected you from Airport). He'll be available on his mobile in the event of any problems during your stay. In case of emergency and Paul cannot be contacted, I can take calls (although based in UK) on the listed contact number.

“perfecly located apartment”

just returned from playa flamenca with a sun tan that everyone has commented on. Having stayed in playa flamenca last year we had an idea of the location where we wanted to be and Mikes apartment fitted the bill exactly. just a short walk to beach and with both the playa flamenca commercial centre and citrus commercial centre with a variety of bars and restaurants just a short stroll away it was perfect. we will definitely be going back!

Just got back from our holiday the apartment is in a fabulous location very comfortable having stayed around this area for a number of years at various times of the year it is perfect for whatever kind of holiday you like also very accessible with it being on the ground floor

We've not encountered any 'outsiders' previously, but will keep an eye on this. The gardens are spacious for sunbathing, but with the pool being so big there are plenty of people to accommodate. We understand that the beach situation will be resolved for the summer and facilities have been inoperative due to the re-tendering process mess up. Only in Spain could this happen ! We hope it did not dilute the enjoyment of your holiday too much. From Mil Palmeres south, the facilities are operative, being run by a different contractor.
