Arundel Villa at Cane Garden Bay, Tortola - Ocean View, Pool, Tropical Gardens
Description from the manager
Arundel Villa is an elegantly furnished hideaway with astounding, sweeping views of Cane Garden Bay, the Caribbean Sea and a collection of islands crests stretching off into the distance! Arundel's three pavilions allow for a wonderful separation between living and sleeping spaces.
The three pavilions of Arundel begin with the palatial master suite pavilion, complete with a romantic four-poster bed, an adjoining tatami reading/meditation room, and a marble bath with an indoor/outdoor shower. Arundel’s living, dining and kitchen areas are in the main pavilion, fitted with a wet bar, a superb stereo system with a generous selection of CDs, a baby grand piano and a sheltered alfresco dining area by the pool.
The third pavilion consists of two air-conditioned queen bedroom/bath suites, each with a marble bath and its own private balcony overlooking the long-distance expanse of inspiring sea views. Below these bedrooms is a quiet air-conditioned home office with a Dell computer with DSL, and Wi-Fi covering most of the pavilion areas for your laptop.
The main allure of Arundel is the expansive garden terrace, set with the hot tub and pool and bordered by tropical gardens with orchids and herbs; serenity is provided by the tranquil sounds of a nearby fountain and fish pond. Here on the sunny deck you’ll marvel at the sea vistas and gorgeous tropical sunsets as your cares melt away.
Janet, Arundel’s accomplished and friendly manager/housekeeper/cook will have a welcome basket readied for your arrival and breakfast items for your first morning. Janet is an excellent cook and is available by advance arrangement to prepare you and your guest’s breakfast, lunches or dinners.
Each bedroom at Arundel has A/C, cable TV, DVD and CD players, VCR, an iPod docking station, bathrobes for guests’ use and hair dryer. Master suite pavilion has safe for valuables, massage table (masseuse and in-house spa treatments available).
Swim or stroll the white-sand beaches, explore ancient ruins or our delectable local cuisine, or drop anchor and rock with the rhythm of the azure ocean. Laid back and quiet, the landscape is rugged, with winding roads. Tortola's mountainous geography also offers lots of hiking trails and camping, especially in Mount Sage National Park. Some notable beaches you may want to visit during your stay include Smugglers Cove, Long Bay Beach, Little Apple Bay, Cane Garden Bay, Brewers Bay, Elizabeth Beach and Josiahs Bay. Aside from being a premier uncrowded beach destination, Tortola and Beef Island are known for ideal sailing conditions. To indulge in the sailing community, visit one of the many harbours throughout the island.
