Bearfoot Lodge, spacious and cozy. Best location!

‘The Lodge’…quite unique in the fact that you have two levels should you decide you need a little space from aunt Susie ... jk. Seriously, if you have two to six folks, we will extend only the cozy upstairs area. Should you have seven to twelve family members enjoying a trip together, we will gladly open the downstairs area to accommodate everyone comfortably. And no, we do not rent to two different families at the same time ... lol!

Additional Location Information

'Bearfoot Lodge' sits on a private, dead-end lane and borders the Great Smoky Mountain boundary line. It is approximately 500 feet from the clear, rushing Little River and is one of the very closest cabins to historic Cades Cove. You simply cannot beat the quaint, convenient location. Folks ask if the cabin is secluded and I reply with ... 'I think of it as semi-secluded'. Although there are a few other cabins in the area, they are all strategically placed and certainly not in a subdivision setting ... plenty of privacy to enjoy the beauty of the abundant nature that abounds. Nature such as all types of woodland foliage, mountain laurel, trillium, etc. as well as forest creatures such as masked bandits a.k.a. raccoons, squirrels, an occasional deer or fox and recently seen..some wild turkeys. Oh, and Ii must mention the rare but exciting visit from Momma bear and her cub. Wouldn't be a complete trip to the Smokies without sighting a black bear now would it?
