Barn Conversion close to the sea, mountains and wo

This lovingly converted barn is situated about a ¼ mile from the pretty fishing village of Trefor, with its shop, pub/club, harbour and lovely beach.

The barn enjoys plenty of its original character with the beautiful 'A' frame beamed ceilings still intact.

The barn is situated in a very quiet position and enjoys river views from the decked patio area (with table/chairs) to the rear of the property - a lovely spot for sitting out.

Excellent base for walking/cycling enthusiasts.

Ample private parking.

Additional Location Information

A short walk to a lovely little sandy beach with harbour and access direct onto the Welsh Coastal Path , or an invigorating climb up the 3 peaks of Yr Eifl (the rivals) access by path next to the cottage. Alternatively stroll through 52 acres of woodland accessed through our small caravan site, designated an area of special scientific interest by the woodland trust. If this sounds too strenuous kick back and relax on the patio with the sound of the river as it flows by.
A diverse mixture of scrub, grassland and streams provide biodiversity for wildlife including bats and badgers and ground flora like bluebells. Its remote location mean parc Elernion is a wonderful woodland place to visit for peace and quiet.

We are a short drive to historic castles and villages along the welsh coast. A drive inland will take you to Mount Snowdon with its railway if you don’t fancy the climb, or visit Porthmadoc and catch one of the little trains.
