AMENITIES (presence of tourist attractions, art) of: Tricase Porto
Artistic monuments, among which are included: "The church of San Nicola," in honor of the patron saint of the place, "La Torre Del Sasso", built for alerting and defending against Saracens and Turks attacks.

Named port of third class in the fifteenth century by Frederick II of Aragon, by Charles V, and after by the unity government of Italy , is today a well-equipped marina and fishing port. Of its sea there would be much to say, given the extraordinary beauty of this coastline, mostly rocky that draws scenery once seen never forgotten.

Town: Italy, Salento, Tricase
Tricase Porto is one of the two marinas of the town of Tricase (Tricase Porto and Marina Serra, near Castro Marina). The Port of Tricase, who had been active since 1400, is located on a natural bay, bathed by a sea with a depth ranging from 7 to 2 meters. Over the years its evolution has continued and lately a small port has been added in order to support the growing tourism, whose main task is the admission of recreational boats. San Nicola is patron of the place, so one of most popular monuments is just the church of San Nicola, others are "Torre Del Sasso" so called because erected above an important group of bristling rock (116 meters above sea level, was built in the fifteenth century, for watching and defending against the Turks and Saracens). Located at 50km from Lecce, has a thick vegetation, whose flagship is the "Oak of Vallonea" (800 years old), that with other varieties, typical of the Mediterranean maquis, makes a particularly healthy air. The coast, 8 km long, is shaped like a semicircle; bordered to the north with Andrano and historical town of Specchia, to the south with Miggiano, to the east with Adriatic Sea. Its coast is rocky, jagged, full of dense vegetation, and dotted with villas.
