Several beaches are near, the closest right across the road at Patrick's Point State Park and with a short walk through the dense forest, wildflower meadows of the park you will have a beautiful view of a Pacific Ocean sunset. Agate beach and the Sumeg Indian Village is also in Patrick's Point State Park and the Tsurai Indian Village nearby. The Redwood National Forest is just a few minutes away. This is a bird watching Mecca with over 400 species in the area .
