We spent a few days skiing, etc. with another family - 4 adults, 3 kids and 1 chocolate lab. The house was spacious, clean and well equipped. My husband and I had the master bedroom and it was terrific - Jacuzzi tub, Ca king bed, and more. The second bedroom where our friends stayed was adequate but very small so the house might be best for 1 family with lots of kids. Other than that our stay was great and I would definitely recommend the house.

This house is in a good location and it's obvious the owner has put a lot of care and quality into the remodel. The kitchen and bathrooms are very nice. What it needs is furniture!! For a house of this size there is not enough seating in the main room. The rugs are mats, which is fine, but they are old and curling. They need to be replaced. The master bedroom is fine with sufficient lighting and places to store items, but the bedding was old and stained. The two downstairs bedrooms: yes they had beds but no lamps for reading or bedside tables. The futon room only had a drafting table and desk as places to put things. Spending just a moderate amount of money on some furniture and new linens could make this a really great rental--and possibly yield a higher rent!

We were so happy with the property! It was so clean and beautifully decorated and finished. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms are gorgeous. The linens were very nice. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking items. The check-in/check-out instructions were very thorough. The internet worked beautifully. It is extremely close to downtown and to Martis Camp where we played golf. We would highly recommend this property. We have rented through Vrbo a number of times and this is the best one yet!

From the adults to the kids, we all had a great time.
The house was updated nicely, from the furniture to the appliances. We all especially liked the Nest thermostat... lol. Who knew a thermostat could be so cool, so much so, when we got home we purchased one for our home :) The house was located in a quiet neighborhood with lots of room to roam around in the back yard. The only thing missing was the heat lamp that we were looking forward to using at night. Other than that, great place and great time!!! Thanks!

This marks our 2nd time staying at this rental home and I must say... I'm really in love with this house! The house upon arrival was exceptionally clean and the property rental place offers a beautiful gift basket to welcome us (which we love!).
Linens were clean and extras were plentiful, kitchen is awesomely beautiful and has pretty much every gadget needed for preparing meals... I do however recommend getting a few BBQ spatulas (there were none).
I have to say... My absolute favorite luxury of the house is the amazing master bathroom! The tub is sooo fantastic and the shower Devine! There were 2 families here and we never ran into a problem with no enough hot water!
New to the house was a home phone! Very nice! Inside the house has little to no cell service so this new amenity was greatly appreciated. The free wifi was fast so I was able to make most my long distense calls from my iPad so it worked out. Also the new dinning table was more sturdy than the previous one! Yay!
I absolutely love this house and plan to make this our annual winter family getaway! I can't wait until next year!!

This is our 2nd year to stay at this property. We love it so much enough to come back this year again. The location is great. The condition of the house is awesome. Only couple miner such as there was out of toilet paper..etc. But Pullen group takes good care of it quick. It makes another big plus.

Let me just preface this review by saying that my family and I have rented homes throughout the U.S. and Europe, and we have always had wonderful experiences. This home, however, has proven to be the exception.
1. There was no working phone at the house upon our arrival. While there were phones in the house, neither the phones nor the phone service were working upon arrival - something that is specifically agreed to in the rental contract. It took five days before we had phone service and we had to purchase a new phone for the house.
2. The house had not been properly cleaned and stocked prior to our arrival. The dishes that were supposedly clean and put away were actually filthy and covered with dried food. As for the house not being stocked, I had specifically checked with the rental company to make sure that certain items were in the house so that if I needed to bring them myself, I would have.
3. Much of the furniture in this rental home needs to be replaced and/or repaired.
4. Lastly, this house was not geared up for tenants to clean it properly. There was no vacuum or mop - we stayed in the home for two weeks, and this made for a very unpleasant cleaning situation. I suggest that the owner or rental company include a cleaning service for families staying in the home for longer than one week.
The rental company advised us that this owner's home was new to their rental properties and that it takes having renters stay in the home and point out the problems in order to have the owner make the requisite changes. I would suggest that the rental company create a checklist of basic things that need to be in and working at the home before it is made available for renters. This way, the renter does not have to have their vacation plans disrupted.

We loved the location! Close to everything and in a quite neighborhood. The house was perfect with great entertainment space downstairs and a master suite upstairs. Plenty of room for what we needed. We hope to visit again soon!

This was a very comfortable house that was on a quiet street. My main interest was a pet-friendly house, and because this house does not have a fenced backyard, for dogs that don't obey well it could be a problem. The mud-room entry was a great feature as I could clean my dog's paws before going inside. The cleaning fee I thought was extremely high($225). Did not use the flat screen TV, so can't comment on that. Laundry room would benefit from operating instructions for the machines. The hot water tank must not be very big, because my son took a bath and did not have enough hot water too fill up the tub. And then we had to wait a long time to shower as the water had to reheat.

The house is newly updated with high end appliances. The kitchen is fully loaded which is make it easy to prepare meals. The location is really closed by NorthStar. We are positive that we will go back again.

The house is located in a great area of Truckee - we have stayed in other homes in this same neighborhood and it is great for walking and when there is enough snow, sledding right near the house.
This house is fine. I thought it would be bigger. The kitchen, living and dining area are all one big room and small in my opinion for the up to seven+ people that this house sleeps. We arrived to it being clean, but things were broken like one of the kitchen faucets so we had to leave a list.
I had to call Pullen Rental Group our first evening as there were no extra linens for the beds and only a handful of towels. They were great and were able to let us know where to find extra sheets (in a cabinet that appeared locked but was actually not) and brought over lots of new towels the next day. The house should now have plenty of towels for any other guests who stay!
The house has lots of light as the description says and does have a nice back yard area where our kids were able to play. It does not have a deck as the description says, but a small step and then a patio area...as there was some snow on the ground I don't know what this would be like for the summer months and if there is a table to use outside when the weather is warm? Thank you for your review. The cleaning team for this home received your list of items that you felt needed attention and turned it over immediately to the Pullen supervisor for this home. This is always appreciated and is very helpful. The items listed have been taken care of and attended to. This owner is very hands on and attends to the care of his home immediately. It shows! Thanks again for your review.

We enjoyed staying at this very cute and nicely updated home. We were there during a massive snow storm and were able to get out to ski thanks to very prompt plowing in the early am.
We were a bit chilly in the early evening due to the fact that the thermostat was locked until after 7pm...we could have used a little more warmth before then especially after a long day on the slopes. We also could have used more glass ware and cooking utensils. But, all considered, we loved staying here and would consider it again when we return to Truckee.

This is a great little cabin, warm, open, comfortable. Great walk in to the house to get all the snow and hang coats etc.,. Well equipped.
We did have soiled sheets upon our arrival on the bottom bunk bed. The sheets had red blood stains. We washed the sheets and replaced. We did find a CD under the TV cabinet (while searching for a lego) and did find a bunch of chewed up gum under the green couch. So, clean but, not so clean... Read more
Thank you for your review! After reading your review we contacted the cleaning team for this home to notify them of the apparent missed linens. Our cleaning team reported that in fact the red marks are actually a red ink marker. The cleaning team has tried to remove these red marks but these are tough to remove as you may know. The linens had been washed and the bed was made. During the regular cleaning the team vacuums under the cushions, and sweep under the couches. During a deep clean is when they move couches and remove any "debris" underneath that has been missed. This is a popular vacation home and has had many back to backs the past few weeks. I hope this explains. We do appreciate very much your washing the linens. We do apologize for the CD and the gum. We continue to strive to reach perfection but haven't arrived there just yet! We will continue to try! The Pullen Management Team.
A beautiful elegant home with lots of spacious areas.

We thoroughly enjoyed the elegant comfort of this lovely home, from the spacious kitchen, living room, master bedroom to the luxurious bathrooms. The surrounding neighborhood was great for taking our dog for a walk. The stairs are very slippery and we had to carry our dog up and down at night because he slipped a lot and finally refused to go up. He is usually fine on any terrain. Other than that, we loved the place! Read more
Thank you for your review! We are pleased to learn that you enjoyed the home and enjoyed your stay. Some dogs do slip around on smooth surfaces due to slightly longer toe nails. We would recommend that your dogs nails be clipped slightly shorter next time if you know that he will be around smooth surfaces for any length of time. If hard wood is difficult for your dog to walk on please let us know of this when you call to make your reservation and our reservation staff can help to select a home with another type of surface so that your dog will be more comfortable. Thank you again for your review. We are pleased to know that you enjoyed your stay.

We rented this house over the christmas holiday. It has been remodeled beautifully and is very clean. We had a problem understanding the heating system, but the Pullen Group was fantastic in getting back to us quickly and even checked back in a few hours later to make sure we were still on track. The only downside to the experience was that one bedroom had a futon, a real bed would have been nice. A few more towels and some cereal bowls would be a great addition to the home. Would I rent this home again? Yes and will definately be going through Pullen again, they were very friendly and easy to work with. Thank you.
