Tankah Inn is a five suite (360 sq ft) real Bed & Breakfast,Caribbean Beachfront on the Riviera Maya,

60 ft. from the Caribbean Ocean and Tankah Bay, Quintana Roo, Mexico

We are located 1 K off the main Hwy 307 and six miles north of Tulum Pueblo.

A full breakfast from our menu is cooked and served by Pancho, one of the best chiefs on the coast.

Breakfast served in second floor restaurant with really great views of Caribbean Ocean,

Soliman Point, Tankah bay and the shore, also passing ships and fishing boats.

The suites have Mini-split A/C's, Hot, hot water, 24/7, electricity 24/7.

Tankah Inn Bed and Breakfast is located on the Beach in the Riveria Maya Zone in Quintana Roo, Mexico, 5 miles north of Tulum pueblo.
The area enjoys beautiful weather in the winter months like A/C out side with sun shining and summer month also due to constant breeze from the sea.
The warm blue Caribbean waters and cool white sands of Tankah Bay present the visitor with constantly changing murals and an Ideal place to swim, snorkel, kayak, sun bathe, eat and drink or beach comb.
We have 5 private rooms. Rent one room or more.
The hammock palapa on beach in front of the Inn, is a shady place to relax, read, sleep or watch the waves roll in.
The Beach loungers on the sand are the place to work on a tan, read, gossip, nap, etc..
Less than 10 miles from Tankah Inn are many Beaches and Bays available for the visitor,
Akumal Bay where you are guaranteed to see one or more of the three types of turtles is only 10 miles from Tankah Inn.
There are more than 20 Cenotes within an hours drive, where you can snorkel, swim, dive and cave dive.
Cenote Manatee is a three min. walk from the Inn, it enters Tankah Bay there, also. A wonderful snorkeling experience. Tankah Bay has a wide variety of live coral in the bay, and easy snorkeling.
A cenote is a part of the under ground river where the roof fell in, leaving a round entrance to the crystal clear fresh water.
Caves and caverns are visible and an unique snorkel, diving or swimming experience.
Tankah Inn is located only one hour or less from 5 Mayan Ruins, 15 min. from the Ruins of Tulum, 20 min. from Muyil, 45 min. from Coba, 10 min from Xel-Ha a ruin that has Mayan art work on some of the walls, 5 min from the ruins of Tanka or you can walk there down the beach.
There are tours - Jungle, Snorkeling, Ruins, Bird Watching and the Sian-Ka'an bios sphere tour and even an air-plane tour of the coast line.
If you want a dining experience there are 100's of restaurants with in a 20 min drive of the Inn, Tulum Beach has many unique restaurants on the beach in all price ranges.
Tulum Pueblo has many many small restaurants off the main street with unusual dishes from around the world. You will never be bored with food choices.
Shopping in Playa del Carmen's fifth street is a blast as you can bargain (they want you to haggle over prices, it's part of the fun) with shop owners over price. Any handi-crafts you want are there, as well as hand made clothes, jewelery, ceramics, wood carvings, back loom cloth, etc, etc, etc..
Bars and restaurants in Playa have a wide variety of live music from traditional Mexican to modern Jazz.
Porta Aventouras has deep sea fishing in season.
Scuba diving is available in many locations, Tankah Inn Bed and Breakfast with Tankah Divers dive shop on site and ( Pointa Morama, Playa del Carmen, Tulum Beach, Dreams, Dos Ojos, Akumal and many other sites) from cave diving to ocean diving and Cozumel is only 1 hour away, more or less.
A turtle sanctuary is open during hatching season and Akumal ecological society helps slow the destruction of natural habits and turtles along the coast.
