Beautiful, comfortable house with a great location. We came to Tybee with our family and small children. We loved the fact that this house is so close to the beach. It was very clean and nicely decorated. We can't wait to come back.

It was so easy to book a rental and everyone was very helpful. When we had to change at the last minute because the first place was unable to be used, we were given several other choices that ended up with us choosing Barrier Islander. It was perfect for our needs and we were very comfortable there. The location was perfect for our needs with a short walk to the beach. There were plenty of bathrooms, a nice kitchen, a comfy living room, and a fun screened in porch off the kitchen. (The only thing that was not that great was the heating situation downstairs. The set up was confusing and it was either hot or cold...we thought it just didn't work right. The heater upstairs was just fine.) It was an easy drive to Savannah and we also drove to the Nebraska vs. Georgia bowl game in Jacksonville Florida on New Year's Day. Go Huskers! Overall, it was a great trip and we enjoyed a relaxing time in Tybee Island, Georgia.

Barrier Islander is a wonderful Tybee property. We have been coming to the island for July 4th for almost ten years now and this was one of the best properties we have ever used. The mid-beach location, ease of access to the beach, and semi-private feel of 7th Terrace make it ideal. Being on the beach side of Bulter avenue is always a plus and you can walk to many attractions from this location. The floor plan was nice. Everything has been updated and the themed decor of all the rooms was perfect. We found everything to be very clean. Our teenagers loved the idea of having their own TV/living area downstairs to hang out while the adults had their own space upstairs. We would highly recommend this property. The three parking spaces could park three fullsized vehicles without any problems. One of the downstair bedrooms has children's sized beds that were a little short for some of our group, but we were able to work around that. As for value, the cost was about what you would expect for this type of property in this location at this time of year, but the true value is in the customer service provided by TVR. We have already booked our next stay with them!

We had a great time while we stayed in Barrier Islander. We were quite comfortable. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach. Also, this area of the beach is less crowded and we found many beautiful shells while out in the ocean. This is the first time that I ever found whole conch shells. Simply amazing.

The place was ok. Couple of things needed repairs esp the bathroom doors, window shades, etc. Everything else was perfect. The best part was the walkway to the beach. It was quiet and kids loved the screen porch
