This serene retreat is located in Ubud, where jungle-like forest in the hills meets the native cultivation. The villa calmly stands at a border where the tall palm trees and exotic flowers are to turn into a near endless green landscape of emerald rice islands. As you enter, you may wonder just how this unique place can coexist on the same island along with the heavily trafficked Denpasar and the merchant noisy Kuta.
In a five minutes walking distance from the villa, you may find a refreshing cocktail bar and a charming restaurant. If you chose a vehicle to explore the varied surroundings of the city, you might discover the famous Monkey Forrest Sanctuary several minutes away, or various such places of cultural interest such as the Antonio Blanco museum. A little longer drive away there are the centuries old rice terraces, ready to take your breath away by their sheer size and colors. The growing tourism in the area has also attracted plenty of diversely specialized shops, cafés and various other sources of leisure. Be sure to visit the various artists, because Ubud is nationally known for its craftsmen.
And then there’s the villa. As you fall asleep after an unforgettable day full of wondrous adventures to the soothing sounds of the nightlife, the only thing to disturb you are the morning birds. The hand carved wooden ornaments; the Hindu temple and the outside dining table create an exquisite atmosphere for spending leisure time in the garden and strongly emphasize the level of Balinese beauty and taste in art. As you step outside through one of the huge French Windows, from the bedroom downstairs, you’ll find the welcoming and refreshing pool, or you may chose to enjoy the fresh air at the gazebo while meditating or doing yoga. Both floors are cozily furnished with sofas and have their own special Balinese artifacts. Upstairs you can really appreciate the view of the landscape and scenery, which is hard to find nowadays – not only in the West, but also on the Bali Island.
There are three major bedrooms, each connected to their own bathroom, two of these equipped with romantic bathtubs with space for two. In case you take your children with you, there’s also a kid’s room upstairs connected to the largest bedroom of the house – the one with the fairytale like bed you can view on the pictures. The facilities also include a kitchen with all the necessities, from where our maid will happily assist you and provide an Indonesian style breakfast and sources of refreshment.
Whether you are here to relax from the hectic and mechanistic routine of the Western World, experience some of the best of what Southern Asia has to offer, or just go on a mesmerizing holiday which has just a little more of what you normally are used to – this just might be it for you (and up to 7 people to be housed more!). Ubud is quickly becoming the new heaven for environmentally conscious tourists, who want more than a hectically packed beach . In such a location our villa will provide the privacy, space and value you’ll require, while you family or group is able to stay connected.
Gazebo, swimming pool, air conditioning in each room, hot water, kitchen, tv and audio, 24 hours house maid (on demand) and extra bed available.

We were a group of (7) two families who wanted to stay in a rice field environment for a two night break.
The house was spacious, clean, beds comfortable and the location great (although a five minute walk from the main road which required torches at night)
The minus points, no wi-fi, no creature comforts ie curtains in the downstairs bedroom, bedside lights, pictures on the walls, very basic breakfast, kitchen needs updating.
The tranquillity of the location made up for the inadequacies of the house.
We are working on making it better, so far kitchen has been updated, and walls are getting paintings.
Better every day.
“Great for relaxation”

Stayed July, 2013.
It was hard to get to the villa, because it has no certain adress, but it was worth it. In the middle of rice fields just few minutes from the center of Ubud.
It was refreshing not to hear the tourists and cars, and bikes, just birds and wind. The bug made noise in the night can be quite loud if windows are open. And rooster sounds are fun to wake up with.
House itself is very open. My favourate part was the dining area and second floor lounge with great views.
It was much more fresher than in city also. And the pool was nice and clean.
The maid was very helpful and gave us info on what to see around and how to get everywhere.
We stayed there just 2 and it felt too big at first, but fast it feels very like at home.
Can highly recommend.
