“The most relaxing spot. Ever.” Par's Place is one of the most relaxing places you could go for your vacation. If you really want to get away and be right on the beach, this is your place. There is a Supermarket right across the street with a pharmacy in it. You can also buy your rum there. The owner of the place is really great and will help you out in any way you need. The place is minutes from Hole-town if you feel like going out. But what I really like was the place felt off the beaten path but close to it.I would recommend this place to families all the way to couples looking for a great getaway.

“Honeymoon in Paradise.” The most wonderful holiday ever! Barbados is a wonderful place, but without Christy our Honeymoon would probably have just been 2 weeks on the beech. "What's wrong with that?" you might say. Well don't get me wrong we did lots of that too, but Christy made our holiday exciting, eye opening, informative, but most of all fun. What Christy dosnt know about Barbados isn't worth knowing. Christys lovely accomodation along with fantastic weather, great foods, great music, breathtaking scenery and an interesting history made our Honeymoon unforgettable. Thank you Christy x

“Great!!!” A really great location in the south of the island! In the neighborhood of the friendly bajan people! A short way to the city Oistens with bus just 10 Minutes. The host Stefano and his wife are very helpful and friendly. Very Great!! We enjoied every day in the beautiful blue ocean cottage. Its clean? It is!!! Perfectly clean!! I can advise this location alot!!!

“Anniversary Get away x” Would just like to give a massive thanks to Sheila for an amazing accommodation for myself and my wife to spend our 7th year wedding anniversary, also would like to give a mention to Ron who greeted us with open arms and made our stay a comfortable one, where can I start, Barbados is already like a second home to us from our very first visit, from the beautiful beaches just a minutes walk away down the lane, to the amazing culture of Oistins, the friendly fun buses that took us around the Island for just a few dollars. While we stayed in Barbados a family member was married here and believe me it will be a memory that stays with me for a life time, it was great to have the Shelsea just a stones throw away, to come back to an amazing Villa that just had the feeling of coming back home, spacious, stylish and well maintained, ha speaking of that hope we didn't get the gardener to drunk as he shared a glass of rum with us. An action packed, yet very relaxing stay for us at the Shelsea, a great hammock in the garden of Shelsea for that relaxing afternoon nap, after touring the Island, there are so many things I could recommend for people to do, Turtle swimming, Rockley Golf Club, Harrison Caves, Boat Trips and many, many more. Thanks again Shelia for a fabulous stay at your beautiful home, we will definitely be returning in the very near future x

“Still wanted to be there!” We had a great time during our stay at the Blue Ocean Cottage in september 2013. The cottage was nice, clean, well-maintained and we enjoyned the sea-view. The owners provided a very good service and hospitality. The low season is a great time to stay; nice, quiet and the beaches of our own! “Wonderful stay!” We had a wonderful trip and the apartment was even better than we expected. We had no trouble getting ahold of Sonja when we arrived and she was ready and waiting for us after our taxi arrived. The apartment was very clean, very well furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. Really like a home away from home although the apartment is slightly larger than our house so we reveled in the extra space! We spent the first week mostly hanging around Speightstown, going to the beach a lot and exploring the town. We had breakfast on the balcony every morning; it was wonderful to sit outside and watch the waves. Our son especially loved to stand on the balcony and watch the cars go by (go figure). We did have to rearrange some of the decorations to be out of his reach, but that was a minor thing and I think I put everything back in its proper place. :) The beach was very nice and private; we were the only people using it the vast majority of the time we went down there. All the rocks and coral did make it a little hard to wade with our two year old but we did find some nice sandy spots and he had fun going out a little deeper with us holding him. We spent the second week renting a car and exploring more of the island and found that Speightstown was a very good base for going to most of the attractions that we wanted to see like the wildlife reserve and animal Flower Cave. Overall, we had an excellent trip and would recommend Barbados, and this apartment, to anyone seeking a fun and relaxing family vacation.

“Fabulous Holiday” I fell in love with Barbados when Christy picked us up from the airport and took us straight to the beach - silver sand, turquoise sea, superb rum punch and friendly locals. What a start to the holiday! Since then Christy has set up her own holiday business and we have stayed at her apartments several times. The family unit was a great success for our extended family - ages from 5 - 85. Short drive to the wonderful Carlyle Bay and easy walk for the younger ones. Quickly became expert in the Bajan "hello" (easy lift of right hand from elbow in greeting and smile) and generally lazing'. We are going back next year.
