“Sweet Wind is outstanding” We just returned from 9 wonderful days at Nina"s Sweet Wind Villa. The view is spectacular, the trade winds always kept the villa very comfortable and the location to great snorkeling and beautiful beaches is a big plus. Nina is a great hostess and close by if you need any hints on where to go or places to eat but she is never in the way. She even was so kind to fillet a Mahi Mahi I bought in Cruz Bay!! The "Pod" set up of the Villa makes it really nice. The living, dinning and kitchen area is separate but right next to two pods that are the sleeping and bathroom areas. Great for 3 couples or a family. The East end of the Island is also very peaceful and quiet. We certainly plan to return.

“We didn't want to leave!” My husband and I stayed at Mooncottage for too short a time in april 2014. We loved it and will hope to go back one day. The layout of the cottage is perfect for a couple. Separate sleeping cottage allows for one to sleep-in undisturbed while the other makes coffee. The island/asian decor is very attractive and the house was fully equipped with everything we needed. But the very best feature is the view which is absolutely to die for. Once there, you will be happy to skip a day at the beach and just bask in the breezy air, taking an occasional dip in the tiny pool, positioned perfectly between the bedroom and the deck. The drive in is pretty hair-raising, but once you get the hang of the very steep and very rough roads (typical in Carol Bay and much of St. John) and the perilously steep driveway, you'll be so glad you made the journey!

“Calypso condo stay was paradise!!!” We recently returned from a weeks vacation to St. Croix where we stayed at Calypso Condo C-2 in the gated community of Gentle Winds and had a fabulous time!!! The condo was immaculate upon arrival and Angela, the unit manager, stocked us with some groceries I requested so we didn't have to go out at night when we first arrived. There were six of us and with the three bedrooms, three bathrooms, three balconies and the loft area we did not feel crowded. Barbara, the owner, thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable and a home away from home. The book Life in the Left Lane, the bottle of champagne in the fridge, the starfish necklaces and the gift certificate to the Snack shack were complimentary gifts to us for staying there. It was a vey nice finishing touch by Barbara and very much appreciated. The kitchen was very well-equipped. There were so many books, Wii games, VHS movies, DVDs, and board games for all ages to choose from. It was nice having a grill to cookout on since we don't always like to eat out and as we found out food in St. Croix is expensive. I would definitely come back to St. Croix and stay at Calypso Condo again in a heartbeat !!!! The view was breathtaking, the beach gorgeous and the pool refreshing. The grounds at Gentle Winds were beautifully kept and the people there including the guard, the groundskeepers, and the woman who ran the Snack Shack were very polite. Staying there in early June had its benefits. I truly felt we had the whole place to ourselves. Besides us there were maybe 6 units out of 65 that were occupied at the time. No fighting for chaise lounges at the beach or pool.. A nice perk of the off season. Before leaving for St. Croix Barbara made sure we had directions from the airport to the condo and how to access the lockbox should the unit be locked. She also stressed checking out her website which had extremely helpful tips and suggestions one should know before arriving. I was also impressed that early on in our stay Barbara called and sent me an email checking in with us to see that everything was going well. We did so many fun activities while in St. Croix- stand up paddle boarding , snorkeling, kayaking, relaxing on the beach, shopping in Christiansted, touring the Cruzan Rum Factory, watching the sunset at Off the Wall restaurant while playing bingo and watching the sunrise at Point Udall. Needless to say we were all very sad to leave but have so many fond memories and beautiful pictures.

“Amazing Experience” I loved my stay at this condo! Great location! Owner was super friendly and helpful. The condo was very clean and newly renovated, exactly like the photos shows. I could have not asked for a better vacation. Will definitely come back again.

“Relaxing, convenient” We had a fabulous stay at your condo! My husband did the St Croix Ironman so we wanted a place that was close enough to race venue without being right in Christiansted, and had a kitchen. This turned out to be an excellent choice! From an athlete's perspective, the location was ideal. It was about 15 minutes to race venue, and easy to get to. The kitchen was fully equipped and we cooked 2 out of 3 meals per day here. 2 grocery stores are right on the way from Christiansted to the condo, making stopping off for groceries very convenient. It is very quiet, so napping and sleeping were no problem. If you are coming to St Croix for an event of this kind, this is a great place to stay. After the race, we had 3 days to relax and enjoy the area and just hanging out in the condo. Our welcome packet, sent well ahead of our stay, had everything we needed to orient ourselves before we arrived. The condo was very clean, and well maintained. The décor is delightful, sunny, island type décor with bright colors, rattan type furniture. Plenty of room to move around the condo and relax in the living room, the back patio, or set up your laptop at the kitchen bar or dining table. We stayed in the master bedroom and the bed was very comfortable. The back patio is quite large, with plenty of seating to enjoy the outdoors. The back patio faces the water, which is a short walk from the condo. You can see the water through the beautiful palm trees from the back patio. If you like to sunbathe on the beach, there are chairs available at the condo's beachfront. If you'd rather sunbathe by a pool, there is plenty of seating at the pool. The pool is quite large if you want to get some swimming in. We swam in the ocean in front of the hotel just North of the condo. The location on the island is ideal, and we explored the island from East to West. Everything was easy to get to from the condo's location. We would definitely stay here again!

“Best Place On Earth!!” Where do I begin... My husband and I were on our honeymoon. Dana and Jason were the best hosts-they gave you privacy, but if you need assistance they were always there to help. They made us feel at home in the HarmonySuite with happy smiles and open arms. We were given breakfast every morning-tastes of the Island foods- DELICIOUS ; ) It was amazing to see the iguanas that would come up to the deck to visit. The rooms were well-kept and well-stocked Dana and Jason have everything at your hands. The pictures don't lie the VIEWS were phenomenal-(I think I have a billion pictures of just the view) It was awesome to wake up and come home every day to the spectacular views. The pool/cabana and hot tub were extra touches to this fantastic getaway and are exclusively for your enjoyment . The people on the island are the best so sweet, helpful, and genuine-always great to be around, the beaches are jaw dropping we never wanted to get out- recommending COKI BEACH/ MAGENS BAY and night life was amazing recommending DUFFY'S LOVE SHACK/ SENOR FROGS (RED HOOK) all of this plus much more all located about 6-8 minutes away (car recommended). “Excellent location!” We enjoyed our stay at Linda's place. The two level apartment is located right at the beach with a million dollar view. The apartment is quite spacious and accommodated our family of 4 very comfortably. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and even had some snorkeling pieces and beach chairs. The kitches is equipped and fully functioning and we cooked a couple of times. My family loves st Thomas and we would love to come back! We highly recommend the apartment!

“The Spirit On The Water was simply magical!” A group of us were visiting the Usvi on vacation for the first time and we were there for 4 days or so. The Spirit On The Water was a fantastic choice not only for a location to call "home" for the time we were there but also for the warmth and incredible hospitality of the owners!!! Both Ed and June were extremely welcoming from the moment that we arrived, they were always eager to lend a helping hand, to suggest a place to visit and to provide directions whenever we needed it. The house was impeccably clean and organized!! The location and the view are absolutely breathtaking... in fact, I think I could've spent the entire vacation just basking in the sun on the incredible infinity pool and deck that they have there!!! I would absolutely highly recommend staying there and making friends with Ed and June... they're great people, and they provide a great place with great services above and beyond anything that you might expect in a five start hotel :)

“another great visit” again we booked with marlin's condo over- looking crx. we enjoyed our stay and and were surprised at the upgrades completed in several areas of the condo. of course we are looking forward to our next visit to st. Croix.

“An authentic taste of the "American Paradise" with best imaginab” We found the Cariso Suite so perfect for us that we have been there several times over the years. The home is very comfortable, the decor is exceptional with personal artistic touch, and we loved having such a well-equipped kitchen when we wanted to eat-in. Sugar hill is a very short walk to our favorite beaches for swimming, snorkeling and lounging either under bright blue sunny skies or beneath the palms and other natural shade. The private pool on the Sugar Hill estate is also a treat, nestled on the hillside with spectacular sunsets surrounded by diverse tropical landscaping, as well as cozy garden spots that surround the Cariso itself ... especially the hammock under our favorite mahogany tree. The owners offer such attentive warm hospitality, with lots of "insider tips" directed to our own personal interests. They have made discovering the cultural gems of St. Croix, diverse recreational activities, traditional island events, the best restaurants, tourist sights, favorite shopping spots, local specialties, peaceful hide-aways (our first visit was our honeymoon), etc. so much easier and more enjoyable. We have sometimes recommended Sugar Hill's other rental suites to close friends so we could all be on island at the same time and vacation together. You can really get the flavor of island life in the neighborhood and the closeby historic town of Frederiksted is so authentic compared to glitzy, noisy tourist towns we have seen elsewhere. You really feel well taken care of at Sugar Hill by the Sea with such accommodating host and hostess.

“A quiet hideaway” We really enjoyed our stay at Valeria's cottage. The owners were really kind and helpful. The cottage was well furnished and the surroundings were calm and peaceful. We took advantage of the pool and of the three places to eat outside the cottage. We loved to be able to buy fresh organic vegetables grown on the farm. Being animal lovers, we really appreciated the joyful presence of Penny (the owner's dog), the songs of numerous birds in the garden and the peaceful cows roaming in the adjacent fields.

“Our perfect anniversary gift to our family was "Paradise Found"” We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at "Paradise Found" - it was all that we could have asked for. A beautiful East End location, a perfect view directly facing Buck Island. Every day we sat and watched the sail boats go by and the pelicans dive, humming birds galore, exotic plants giving off evening fragrant aromas. We can only believe that the owners designed this home to maximize all that the Caribbean could offer with the warm breezes blowing through the opened windows and doors then facing the warm turquoise water. We were within a very short walk to a restaurant that we made uses of food was excellent. Thank you for making our anniversary so very special, Dieter Krista and grown up kids (Germany)

“we loved Stonegarden Cottage” My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Stonegarden Cottage.We really love Coral Bay and this has been our favorite rental.The property is just as the photos show it.It was immaculate and and everything he could have wanted. The kitchen had everything we needed. The deck is lovely and has a great view.Our host were very nice and very helpful. We would happilt recommend Stonegared Cottage to our friends.

“Fabulous St. John Get away!” My husband, 16 year old daughter, her friend, and myself vacationed at Villa Catalina from June 5-June 12, 2012. From being met at the ferry dock, Myrtle took care of every need we had. The home was incredible and very comfortable for our stay. The kitchen is well stocked, the bedrooms very comfortable, and the beach towels, chairs, and ice chest are a definite plus! Villa Catalina is just minutes from Cruz Bay and very convenient to beaches, restaurants, shops, etc. The deck and pool area are great in the mornings and evenings, and the grill was a must have as we cooked plenty meals out in the evenings. There was a grocery on our way back in to the villa which had a great meat selection as well as wines. The thing I think I would say i liked least is the third bedroom being accessed from outside and down stairs. Though this was not a problem for the 4 of us it was just a little inconvenient. What we loved most was the peace and quiet of the area, the great breezes blowing across the decks in the evenings. This was a wonderful place to stay and we cant wait to return. A definite slice of heaven!

“Dream Honeymoon” Our visit to St. Thomas and St. John was truly an amazing experience. It was our honeymoon, and we spent a whole week on St. John. We must visited almost every beach while we were there. The little cottage had every thing we needed to cook our own meals, including a grill (i have celiacs, so I can't eat out just anywhere). But there are plenty of restaurants on that side of the island. The view from the porch was really amazing, and bookshelf was full of old maps and nick info about the island. Thia was a great host, and gave a lot of useful advice on where the best beaches and places were for us to visit. It was much more affordable than most of the island and I would certainly stay there again. -Kristen Mallory & Loan Vu
