“Little Cozy House!” This house was perfect for my girlfriend and I. It was a small little cozy house and it was just big enough for the both of us. It was very well furnished and clean, we really enjoyed the features it had to give too, like the internet and the fire place. It was a very beautiful home.

“AMAZING CABIN! Great location, couldn't ask for anything better!” The owner was amazing to work with and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great! It was wonderful for the large group that we had. Especially having the 2 kitchens, and the large family rooms. The location was great, as we went and hiked Stewart Falls just above Sundance Resort and then floated the Provo River in rafts, all within just minutes of the cabin. We were able to have a group fire pit at the park just below the cabin by the river. The wild life of rabbits, peacocks, turkeys and deer around the cabin made it fun especially for the youth of the group. Would love to stay there again and would highly recommend it.

“Dreamy Little Getaway Spot - AND MOOSE!” I almost don't want to tell you how amazing this cabin is for fear that the next time I want to rent it, it won't be available! We ADORED our stay here. I initially rented it for an overnight retreat to celebrate a friend's upcoming wedding but decided that one day just wasn't enough and booked the second night for my family to come up and join us for a day out of the city. This place did NOT disappoint on any front. For the friend retreat, it was the PERFECT place to gather around the kitchen island/table eating, talking and laughing. The atmosphere and lovely rustic/modern decor were only matched in delightfulness by the cabin's owners who were more than willing to help us accommodate extra sleeping spaces & odd requests. They provided everything you could possibly need to have a great stay. There's a salt lick and watering bucket in the back yard and we saw several deer and even a baby moose that seemed completely unaware of the people staring at it 30 feet away. For the kids, the cabin was outfitted with a few board games (we discovered a new family favorite "in a pickle") and family friendly dvds (although there was no need for those for us...there was plenty to explore outside!). They loved building careful fires in the wood stove in the chilly evenings and were charmed by the loft and balcony. My only suggestion would be for a map of possible hiking trails in the neighboorhood. This is located in a cabin community so it was a little hard to know where to go for a walk in the woods where you wouldn't inadvertently bump into someone else's vacation. Although, it should be noted that EVERY person we talked to during our stay was kind and helpful and super friendly. I think they are also working on adding a fire pit area which would be ideal. I've already recommended it to a few friends and my kids have asked if we can go back soon. My kind of camping.

“Great week of sun, skiing and relaxing.” We stayed in the 1 bedroom Platinum Woods condo the first week of March. It started as just my husband and I, then my father decided to join us and after we booked the room, my mother also decided to come along. It was enough space for the 4 of us, although we were not in the room very much. The ammenities were very nice and for the most part, the condo was very well stocked with the utensils to cook about anything you wanted. There were a few little things that are definitly not deal breakers, just things that we noticed like: for the 4 of us, there was 1.5 rolls of toilet paper which did not last long, so that was trip to the store ; also, there were very few places to hang the towels in the bathroom, which doesnt seem like a big deal and probably sounds whiney, but the towels were always ending up on the floor or confused on whose was whose, and not many, so it seemed like we washed towels quite often and there was no laundry soap, so that was another trip to the store. Also, we were under the assumption that the shuttle was included in our stay, but it was $20 / day. We did participate in the timeshare presentation and they ended up waiving the fee of the shuttle. Most of the staff were great, but a couple were rude when we went to the front door for the shuttle to Deer Valley instead of going out the back, but we had no idea. The beds were ok, not the best sleep but far from the worst. We took advantage of the small deck to enjoy the sun. The hot tub was nice after a long day of skiing. The restaurants were ok, mostly went to Park City at night. The ski valet service was excellent, although it would be great if the locker room and valet spot were a little closer, but again was a terrific service. The place is huge, but we quickly figured it out the way around. The shuttle service was very nice and the bus system around Park City was great and easy to get to and offered many great options for dinner and apres ski drinks. We hope to be back next year.

“Location, Location, Location!” LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, From start to finish this Rental property was so Easy to rent. The owner Erik felt like someone I had know forever. Very personable and very attentive. Loved that it felt like home and not a museum you couldn't live in. I had My Daughters and they're husbands and 4 grandchildren and they all had such a great time. Loved that we were able to walk down to main street without having to drive and park. Thank you so much Erik, enjoyed your home and would most definitely stay there again. Maybe a Girlfriends weekend, next! :)

“Perfect winter vacation” We were very fortunate to find this gem in Park City for our winter vacation. We lived in this very large and well appointed condo for two full months. Scott and family were incredibly easy to work with and made our stay so nice. The location is fantastic! We are across the street from Fresh Market, Rite aid and Starbucks (as well as many other useful businesses). We were also maybe a 5 minute walk to the Park City Mountain Resort, which is where we had our season passes to snowboard. Another huge plus is the buses here are free to use, and the bus stop is just out front of the complex (2 min walk max). We often took buses to Main Street, which was maybe a 5 minute ride. Very convenient. The condo itself is very large, plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was fantastic, and had much more then we expected. Most vacation rentals have the bare minimum with dishes, glasses and cookware, but not here. They had enough to create a feast for 15 (which we didn't, but could have!). The downstairs living area with 1/2 bathroom was great and very open. Nice large TV, the sofa couch was quite comfortable, and the dining room was great for playing games. The high ceiling made this floor plan very open, letting in a lot of light from the second story skylights and floor to ceiling windows. Upstairs there are two full master suites that are separated by a sitting room which we used as an office. Both bedrooms have queen beds and are very well sized, you have plenty of room for everything. We preferred the first bedroom off the stairs as it was a bit warmer. Although the back bedroom has it's own heating system. During the summer, the back bedroom with the balcony would be awesome. The pool, hot tub and sauna in the main area of the complex is great! We met a lot of cool travelers there, and it was a huge plus that the pool was heated, we estimated around 80 degrees. We highly recommend this condo, and will definitely stay here again when we come back to Park City!

“Worth Every Penny!” I took the whole family up to Utah for the week to get away from the hot sun in arizona and we don't regret it at all! The house was big and comfortable and clean! I don't even think we used all the rooms. All the Tv's and couches and just the furniture was beautiful. We loved the weather to; it was never too hot or too cold. It was perfect. We really enjoyed the pool, but what we instantly fell in love was the indoor hot tub. It was so relaxing to soak after a long day of hiking and walking through the town. It was worth every single penny.

About Wasatch Range

Utah ski country begins just beyond the limits of Salt Lake City and extends throughout the Wasatch Mountain Range, including legendary ski areas like Emigration Canyon and Snowbird. The slopes here are truly world class, and the pristine runs and luxury facilities draw serious skiers from all over the world every winter. The best way to enjoy everything this area has to offer is by staying in a vacation rental. Find a condo in the city or a quiet cabin in the mountains and let the vacation adventures begin.

A vacation rental is often less expensive than a hotel and can offer luxury amenities like a living room and gourmet kitchen. Vacation rentals provide the space you need to store your outdoor gear and the privacy you need to relax and plan the day's adventures at your own pace. Salt Lake and the surrounding wilderness areas are beautiful during any season of the year, and vacation rental options are always widely available.

Here are a few suggestions as you plan your trip:

  • Visit the Salt Lake Public Library: This enormous complex was constructed during the 2001 Winter Olympics and offers cafes, shops, art galleries, and a glittering central corridor that functions as a strolling area and gathering spot.
  • Visit the Great Salt Lake: This lake is an indispensible stop on the great American road trip. Take a dip and see how easy it is to float on the surface.
  • Visit Temple Square: Explore the home of the iconic Mormon Temple and the dome shaped Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
  • Hike the trails: Go hiking or mountain biking along the trails that wind through the foothills of the Wasatch Mountain Range. These trails are perfect for camping, rock climbing, and wildlife spotting.
  • Visit Red Butte Gardens: Located close to the city limits, these magnificent botanical gardens are an extension of the University of Utah and are open to the public for tours.
  • Go horseback riding: During the summer, there's no better way to explore the Wasatch Mountains than with a guided trail ride.

Find a vacation rental high in the mountains to get away from it all, or find a trendy condo downtown close to world class restaurants and energetic nightspots. No matter where you decide to stay or what you decide to do, you'll ever forget your trip to Utah ski country. While you're here, you may also want to head south to red rock country and explore the national parks of Arches and Moab.

Perfect for our ski team!

Seven members of an adult ski team and our coach planned a trip to Park City. Dori's Red Pine 4 Bedroom Mountain View suited our need perfectly. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and was great! There was plenty of room and privacy for all of us. The common room also fit us nicely. The condo was conveniently located near the cabriolet gondola. We hope this condo will be available when we plan our next tripsee more

Great stay

Comfortable, well-equipped home with responsive owners. It is really 2 +1/2 bedrooms that wouldn't easily accommodate 6 people. We were fortunate in a sense that due to unforeseen circumstances only 3 of us ended up staying there. It's an immaculate home with lots of amenities, in a good location. Great Condo! Family Friendly!

The only bad thing is that it looked like you could walk down to ski school and the main area easily, but it was very steep and there is no sidewalk, so we couldn't walk with our skis and ski boots, but were able to walk there for the sleigh ride dinner, which was great! It was also very easy to drop everything off via the car and then get the kids checked in for ski school. Great place! Well stocked with kitchen supplies! Nicely decorated.see more
