This apartment is in a perfect location, close to the wonderful Rialto markets. Everything in the apartment is of the highest standard. The kitchen is a dream for guest who like to cook with a big fridge/freezer and Siemens oven and stove and a lovely dinging area. The beds in the bedroom and living room are very comfortable, great for friends or couples who want to sleep in separate rooms. The bathroom and laundry have everything a person with high living standards would want. I have been renting apartments in Venice for a long time and this is the best. I will be back for sure.

This apartment was perfect for the 5 of us. Very clean and had everything we needed-loved it!
It was very clean and neat and tidy. Having 2 bathrooms for 5 people was very good so no waiting in line for showers etc. The kitchen was fully equipped. The only item needed was a bigger coffee maker ( we had 5 coffee drinkers) so the little espresso coffee maker wasn't enough..otherwise it was PERFECT! Melissa was very nice and friendly. She met us at the vaporetto and walked us to the apartment. She went over all the information for the apartment and answered all of our questions. I could have stayed in Venice for a month (or more!!) in that apartment and will definitely go back and stay there again. Close to all we wanted to see and handy and easy to get to. Thanks so Much Melissa!

I had booked this apartment as a surprise 70 th birthday present for my mum, I had looked for some where near St Marks square and this was ideal. As my mum and dad were arriving on the Friday and us the day later as a surprise, I had asked the owner to keep it from my parents we were coming, and they did us proud. We were in constant contact with the owner to simplify entry into the apartment for my parents and a easy spot arranged to meet and greet. There are a couple of flights of stairs to climb to get into the apartment, but once in the apartment it was lovely, very spacious and great facilities in the apartment. I would highly recommend it, only a couple of minutes to St Marks square and easy to navigate to and from
"Beautiful Venetian retreat in great location!"

This was our second stay at Ca Pesaro Terrace, we loved it so much the first time we came back! Nicolette and Emanuele are the perfect hosts, always available for any questions and they truly make you feel at home. The apartment is immaculate and perfectly equipped for your home away from home in Venice. This is an ideal location, steps away from the San Stae vaporetto stop in a quiet neighborhood, one of the most charming sestiere in Venice, easily walkable to a lovely neighborhood campo with grocery and a great bakery or in the other direction to the Rialto. Location is one reason we came back to this charming apartment but also the apartment itself makes for a peaceful retreat after exploring the narrow pathways of Venice. The apartment is quiet, light and airy with two private outdoor terraces. Perfect for sipping your prosecco and enjoying your prosciutto while planning your next day's adventure. The view from the shared Altana is outstanding, particularly at sunset. You will feel so special up here while having a spritz, listening to the bells and admiring the Grand Canal. I'm not making this up! This is a perfect place to stay. Practical notes: when needed the air conditioning worked great, there was hot water with every shower and there were four of us. We can't wait to come back again!
"As good as it gets"

This apartment and the folks at Truly Venice were outstanding. I agree with the other Excellent reviews. Location at first seems maybe too loud and active but inside the apartment it is actually very quiet with the windows closed. The furnishings were fine, nothing too luxurious and maybe a little sparse but perfectly clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well equipped even though we just made coffee. The beds and showers and air conditioning were good too. The location though is what makes this property stand out. You can easily walk to all of the different districts, it's a 10 or 15 minute walk to Saint Marks square, 2 minutes to the Rialto market, water taxis and vaporetto stops. I really I can't imagine a more convenient location. The one negative is the stairs as has been reported in other reviews. if you can't imagine lugging 50 pound backs to the fourth floor, then this is not your place. We are in our 50s and traveling with our twenty-something kids and it wasnt too big a deal for us, but I wouldn't recommend for all ages. Thank you Daniela at Truly Venice for a great apartment in Venice. I would definitely stay here again and hope I will because we loved Venice a lot.
A couple of tips we learned: avoid the gondolas in front of the building and by Saint Marks. Cross the Rialto bridge, make your first right turn and there is a quiet gondola stand by a wine bar. No crowd and a very quiet ride through some small canals to see the real Venice.
Don't waste your money hiring a water taxi for the train. the vaporetto line 2 is 50 meter away and the train is only one stop away.
The jewel of the Adriatic Sea, Venice is filled with romance. As many visitors to this Northern Italian city will tell you, Venice's famous canal-lined neighborhoods are as beautiful in reality as they are in the imagination. Once the most important port in Italy, Venice was built atop a series of small islands that are connected by narrow waterways. These canals function like roads in this unusual city, where automobile traffic is almost nonexistent. The distinctive urban map, along with the city's elaborate Gothic architecture, has made Venice one of the world's most famous destinations.
During the Renaissance, Venice was home to a prominent artistic community. Today, Venice continues to play an important role in the international arts culture with many renowned museums and galleries. Venetian craft is among the most famous in Italy, including the popular and widely exported Merino glass produced on a small island just outside the city center. Venice is also the host of one of the world's most important art fair, the Venice Biennale, which draws huge crowds of celebrities, journalists, artists, and tourists for exhibitions and parties.
Eating and drinking is another centerpiece of the Venice experience. Here, small trattorias and cafes prepare a range of regional dishes, like risotto with cuttlefish and fish soup, which pair perfectly with Northern Italian wines.
If you've never been to Venice, the place to start is in the water. Take a gondola ride through the twisting waterways or hop on a vaporetto, a public water-bus, down the Grand Canal. From the canals, you can admire gorgeous Venetian architecture, tiny footbridges, and charming open-air cafes throughout the city center.
In addition, don't miss:
- Piazza San Marco: This is the heart of Venice and the site of splendid St. Mark's Cathedral, an architectural gem built over the course of many centuries.
- The Grand Canal: The city's main artery, this large canal is crisscrossed by motorboats and flanked by palaces.
- Doge's Palace: Also known as the Palazzo Ducale, this architectural wonder was built in the 10th century. Today, it is a handsome museum with art by Venetian masters
- Galleria dell'Accademia: This famous museum holds a collection of Renaissance art by Venetian masters, like Titian.
- Peggy Guggenheim Collection: This is a wonderful contemporary art collection, displayed in the Venice home of famous collector, Peggy Guggenheim.
- Rialto Bridge: This stone footbridge is one of the city's most famous and most beautiful architectural treasures, with a central portico housing a row of gift shops.
You can enjoy Venice's unique atmosphere in a historic villa or luxury vacation rental. An apartment rental or condo with a view of the canals will let you live like a Venetian for a few days.
