“Home Sweet Home-away-from-home” Have had the pleasure of staying in this property several times over the last few years. “Cozy log home” Beautiful private location just outside the town of Stowe. Short drive to grocery store. Easy access to ski hill and other outdoor activities. Rustic log home with large loft, plus main floor and basement bedrooms. Clean and well maintained with new carpets and modern bathrooms. Kitchen was small but adequate. Only negative was the water pressure was low, especially when showering. Spiral staircase would be difficult for older occupants.

“beautiful house in a wonderful setting” I'd rent it again for our group, but you've got a septic problem - there's a distinct odor of sewage when you're standing outside the front door.

“Great rental home” This is a wonderful rental home in a nice area. Not far from town and skiing. The home was spotless and well equipped. Beds were comfortable and plenty of room for all of us. Even a small slope in the large back yard we used for tubing. I highly recommend this for a vacation rental.

“I love this house” We rented this house for 4 months from June through October in 2013. My wife and I had just retired. We have stayed here for much shorter periods as vacations, so we were familiar with the house. It is very peaceful and quiet with a wonderful view to the west from the front porch. It is a mile up a steep dirt road, so less desirable in the in winter months. The house is not fancy, but neat and clean with lots of room with 4 bedrooms for visitors. There is nothing finer than sitting with a cup of coffee in front of the fireplace. The owner always leaves plenty of wood. The kitchen is simple, but it has everything you need. Using the dehumidifier does truly help to keep the basement level dry and comfortable. This is a great place to enjoy all that Stowe has to offer. The owner is genuinely helpful and eager to make your stay a good one.
