Victoria has a lot to offer, and staying in one of the most unique B&Bs so close to downtown Victoria, the public transit (which is very affordable), and the chance to see cute SEALS right outside your doorstep, is definitely one of the most fun-filled, affordable vacations we have ever had.
It was my partner and I along with another couple vacationing to Victoria for a Valentine's weekend getaway. We were welcomed by the great host, Carene, Friday evening and immediately settled in. The place is pleasing to the eye and very well-kept. Modern, with a great view in the morning of the harbour. The beds are super comfortable. I bet if I jumped up and down it wouldn't make a noise. There are places to eat right outside of the B&B, and downtown is only a 2-minute bus ride or 15-minute walk away.
Carene will recommend a lot of things you can do and places you can go for dining. She even called to make sure the dining locations she recommended were open. I recommend renting a bicycle and exploring the coast, or exploring some great pubs that I'm sure she will be more than happy to share with you.
The only thing we liked the least was that we couldn't stay there longer than we wanted to. We are from Vancouver, so if you're looking for a place to vacation that isn't too far from home, this is definitely a great place to start. Alternatively, if you're new to Canada, this is a hidden gem you sure wouldn't want to miss.
We're already planning our next stay here in the summer!

Don't miss this one of kind hidden gem in Fisherman's wharf. Authentic Victoria at its best. It's an ideal location with everything a step away-kayaks, whale watching, tours, fish tacos and waterfront strolls to downtown. Enjoy upscale accommodations with an effervescent and knowledgeable hostess who will make your visit exceptional. Enjoy!
