Spettacolare, elegante, ampio, luminosissimo, confortevole appartamento a ridosso del mare e del centro storico di Vieste, con vista mozzafiato che spazia dal mare smeraldo della rada sino al borgo medioevale. Sotto casa: l'incantevole spiaggetta di Marina Piccola.
Frutto di una completa ristrutturazione recentemente conclusa, posto al terzo piano con ascensore (comodità questa introvabile nel centro storico con questa veduta di Vieste), l'alloggio, di circa 100 mq, è climatizzato ed è composto da due camere da letto, una con letto matrimoniale e l'altra con due letti singoli, da due bagni in pregevole ceramica, attrezzati con docce, ed infine da una zona living con atrio, angolo scrittoio, cucina aperta, sala da pranzo e soggiorno provvisto anche di un divano letto a due posti.
L'appartamento dispone inoltre di uno straordinario balcone che con i suoi 14 metri di lunghezza dà luce a tutte le stanze e ad uno dei due servizi. E, come fosse il ponte laterale di una nave magicamente ormeggiata a Marina Piccola, si affaccia sui cangianti colori dello scenografico mare di Vieste. La balconata concede, con i suoi 25 mq., anche una piacevole vivibilità in ogni momento della giornata o della sera. Attrezzata con tavolo, sedie e sdraio, è uno straordinario posto per un aperitivo o per una cena, così come per prendere il sole al mattino o per leggere ed intrattenersi al pomeriggio ed alla sera.
Ma indimenticabile è il panorama che, anche dall'interno della casa, si ha sempre negli occhi: oltre che sull’onnipresente orizzonte liquido del mare, ci si affaccia sull'antico contorno del paese fatto di cubiche casette bianche assiepate sulla digradante collina, su cui spiccano la guglia del Duomo e le ciclopiche mura del Castello. Fitto agglomerato di edifici medioevali che terminano, a strapiombo sul mare, con il bastione della Chiesa di Punta San Francesco. Mentre a sinistra dal vicino scoglio di Sant'Eufemia, s'impone il profilo della grande lanterna del Faro.
Proprio sotto casa è possibile tuffarsi nelle trasparenti acque della spiaggia di Marina Piccola. Mentre le grandi spiagge di Vieste sono facilmente raggiungibili anche a piedi con una breve passeggiata di un quarto d'ora, specialmente quella di San Lorenzo verso sud, ma anche Pizzomunno, verso nord, non richiede che qualche passo in più. Con l'auto, ovviamente, anche le spiagge più lontane si raggiungono in pochi minuti.
Il porto, e quindi l'imbarco per le Grotte o per le Isole Tremiti o ancora il molo per l'affitto dei gommoni, si trovano alle spalle dell'alloggio, a neanche 100 metri di distanza. Sono poi disponibili alcuni, pochissimi parcheggi gratuiti sul lungomare, cosa rarissima nel centro di Vieste. In ogni caso a 50 mt da casa c’è un parcheggio, scoperto ma custodito, convenzionato a prezzi accessibili e comunque sono sempre facilmente raggiungibili ampi parcheggi a pagamento, soprattutto nei pressi del porto. Infine, bar, ristoranti, negozi, supermarket ed anche la zona pedonale si trovano a pochi passi, ma la posizione particolare dell'appartamento, defilata sul lungomare, protegge dal frastuono serale.
Infine, la cifra stilistica degli arredi cerca di ritrovare, a cent'anni di distanza, l'equilibrio di vita di una borghesia colta, liberale e mitteleuropea dei primi decenni del secolo scorso, unendo mobili pregiati del periodo, per lo più art déco, insieme a coevi esempi di ebanisteria che riprendono antiche tecniche d'intarsio, come il prezioso tavolo da pranzo piemontese od il piccolo scrittoio provenzale con ribalta in radica d'ulivo. Mobilio restaurato con cura e combinato ad interessanti elementi di moderno design come la cucina laccata con un lucido color melanzana o lampade d'arredo o le modernissime rubinetterie a cascata o, ancora, le maniglie realizzate, su disegno, con fusioni a cera persa in ottone. Completano il senso di agiatezza e benessere che la casa ispira ai suoi ospiti, la gran quantità di tappeti e quadri in ogni ambiente: in particolare, quadri originali e falsi d'autore coesistono felicemente.
