Description

The apartment is situated on the ground floor and with easy access to all the splendid facilities of The Old Village, it is ideal for the less mobile or young families. It has been completely refurbished to a high standard and has air-conditioning for the summer months and a log burning stove for cosy winter use. The garden and terrace is south facing.

There are 2 bedrooms with a double bed in bedroom 1, which does not convert into singles, & 2 single beds in bedroom 2. There is no sofa bed so these are the only sleeping arrangements in the apartment.

The Old Village architecture is based on the 18th Century classical buildings of southern Portugal with 2 and 3 storey houses and apartments, painted in traditional pastel colours, in a lovely garden setting. The complex is pedestrianised, with calcader paved walkways leading to the 3 swimming pools, children's play area, the supermarket and the various bars and restaurants. There is the re-assurance of 24 hour security. Our agent is on-site should you wish to book car hire, coach trips or other activities.

The Old Village Tours & Transfers company is based in the complex and transport to the local towns and other places of interest, may be booked online or at their office. Our agent is on-site should you wish to book car or cycle hire, coach trips or other activities & is available to answer any queries you may have during your stay.

Interaction with guest

Our agents, Village 4U Lettings, have an office in Alexander Street in the Old Village and is close to the apartment. Check in for registration and key collection is at this office and out of office hours arrivals are catered for. Maid service is provided every other day, except at weekends. Towels are changed mid week and bed linen changed after 5 days (for a 10 night stay) or 7 days (for a 14 night stay). Cots and High Chairs are available to rent at a cost of €5 per item per night. The staff in the agent's office speak good English and will provide advice on places to visit, car and cycle hire and will book excursions.

“Great apartment in fabulous location”

The apartment in Alexandra Street in the Old Village is in a fabulous location. You can walk to the marina in Villamoura in 20 minutes or it is a short taxi ride away. Alternatively you can take the tourist train. The ols village has great pools, bars and a small supermarket if you wish to spend some days by the pool. We had a great 2 weeks here with some days out and some pool days. Would recommend this apartment for a relaxing break. It has everything you need.

“Amazing stay”

Our apartment was perfect for me my husband and our 3 1/2 year old... The apartment had everything we needed even a DVD player with different dvds that our little on can watch while we was getting ready to venture out... The facilities of the village was great. Our little boy loved it in the main pool with all his friends. It was perfect for him as it wasn't too deep and helped him to build his confidence. The staff were lovely.. The only downside was at the pool some of our friends had bought blow up rings which were sold and the shop on site and then told they were too big and couldn't be used... Why sell them? Apart from that tiny bit I couldn't fault a thing. We will definitely be back again... Love love love the old village!

“Excellent”

My second time at this apartment although ive been visiting Vilamoura for over 10 years. If you're looking for somewhere quiet but within minutes of bars, restaurants etc, this is the place. The apartment is very clean and well stocked with everything you need. The small garden is south facing and gives you all day sun, wi-fi is excellent, the tv gives all English channels together with BT and SKY sports. A perfect home from home.

How do damage deposits work?
