My family and I looked for a family, three generations, vacation rental for over a year. And we did find the perfect place. We also rented another unit right in the same area and when we go back again we are hoping to get the same units.
My grandson has Downs and has special needs and it was the perfect place for him and for us.
The location of the unit was ideal. The sunset and the views from the lanai and upstairs balcony were beautiful, breath taking.
We enjoyed the bikes, the snorkels, tennis rackets, the televisions, in every room, and assortment of dvds and the home itself was located ideally. We enjoyed the Hilton Waikoloa and other activities that were close by.
We were close to the tennis court, gym, pool and bar-b-q.
The home is beautifully decorated and the kitchen had everything we could need or want.
I called the property manager several times and she was always pleasant and most helpful.
We are definitely hoping to return.

This is a beautiful condo in the wonderful location of Waikoloa. We were traveling with 2 families, with a total of 3 kids under the age of 4. The management company was so accomodating, they had high chairs, booster seats, pack-n-plays, and beach toys waiting for us. We found the condo to be very clean and updated. There was plenty of room for us and we would definitely stay here again.

We had three generations of family together for Christmas, with five, six, and occasionally seven of us staying in this lovely and very accommodating unit. Thoughtfully supplied kitchen with service for at least twelve, an array of small appliances, nice linens throughout unit. TVs are flat screens, easy to plug into. Living room furniture comfortable if a little sparse for larger families. Great to have the garage available. We did not park in it, but used it for storage. Our kids and grandkids appreciated the 3 bikes, boogie boards, etc. We have rented other units in the complex and were not sure how we'd feel about the outlook on the lava trail, but it turned out to be the quietest and most private-feeling of any so far. Only hiccup during the two weeks was kitchen disposer malfunction requiring a couple of service visits, but those were made promptly by congenial handyman. We would definitely rent 1602 again.

We thoroughly enjoyed the condo. It was decorated beautifully & stocked with everything we needed for a fun stay. There were 3 bikes available for riding around the complex or down to the beach. Everything needed for a beach visit was available - beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkels & masks, inner tubes, towels, etc. In the evening we enjoyed playing the various board & card games & there was a nice assortment of DVD's also. There was a nice assortment of books & we thought it was so nice that we were allowed to take a book home if we hadn't finished reading it. Wi-fi was provided & worked great. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need for cooking -
all sizes of cookware & plenty of dishes & utensils. Carole, at the management company was very attentive & made the whole rental process flawless. If we come back to this area for a vacation, we would definitely call Carole at Escape to Extraordinary, and would be happy to stay in this condo again.

This was the second time we stayed in 1602 and were just as pleased as we were the first time. The condo is beautiful and just about anything that you could think of was supplied- bikes, beach chairs and towels, tennis rackets. We absolutely love this place.

We had a nine night stay at this unit in Colony Villas and was sad to leave. It is one of the nicest units at Colony Villas that we have stayed in up to this time. We enjoyed the convenient location near the pool and the tennis court, and yet it was still quiet and peacefull.
Carol was great to work with, professional and responsive to all our inquiries and needs.

Our second stay at the condo was terrific, it really is our family's favorite place. We really enjoyed all the amenities and the location, you never get tired of the beautiful sunsets on Mauna Kea. This year my husband discovered that in the proximity
of the condo there are many hiking trails, from miles in the middle of huge lava fields to beautiful trails along the shoreline. Thanks again to Carole for her excellent service.

I stayed at the Waikoloa colony villas a lot of times before this trip, but never in this beautiful home. It is different from all, I say that because their is lots of upgrades, such at wood and tile flooring and all the bathrooms are redone. This is a wonderful home that I will be staying in again and recommend to others.

The unit was very nice and worked out very well for our holiday. The use of the bikes in the garage was great for the kids and the other equipment was really useful too. The unit was very well stocked, it was nice to stay in a unit that had more than 2 rolls of toilet paper, and had enough pots and pans to actually cook at real meal. The only down side to the unit was the neighbors (unit 1601) who smoked on their lani constantly and made it very unplesant for us to sit on our lani any time they were our there. Over all the location was great and we will strongly consider this unit again for a future holiday.

Our stay at the Waikoloa Colony Villas was excepional. The rental unit was beautiful and we were pleasantly surprised with the amenities included. The owners had generously thought of and provided everything we could have possibly needed during our stay. Carole Kwait provided excellent service to us from the point of booking to final departure. Thank you very much. We are looking forward to returning next year.

Our party had an adventure at the beginning of out trip. The property immediately allowed us to relax. When we arrived at the property we were impressed by the manicured appearance and the amenities. The photographs don't show how great the the condo really is. We all truly enjoyed our stay. We would like to return on our next trip and would highly recommend this property to anyone. We are very grateful Ms.Kwiat for contacting us promptly with this rental. Without her we would not have had a vacation. Thanks so much for your hospitality.

We had an absolutely wonderful time on the Big Island due in no small part to this lovely villa. It was decorated beautifully and extremely comfortable. The owners/property management company thought of everything from first aid, laundry, guide books, maps, fully equiped kitchens, beach items, movies, bikes, tennis racquets, etc. I would highly recommend this to any family or group interested in getting away. The location was perfect for easy access to any other part of the island and had consistently nice weather to boot. Thanks for opening your home to us!

The unit was brand newly decorated tastefully and comfortably and well-equipt. We slept better than at home! Took photos of the open view! Carole was very acessible and responsive. We were the very first in this new rental. It was like opening Christmas and birthday presents. We are picky and it was top-notch all the way and absolutely allergy-free. Many communications got us, wow! in advance of landing: cleaning with allergen-free luandry detergent, a rice-cooker and aerobed added, our worry about the distance to shops answered as they put in 3 bikes, fun for my grown son! As it was with two septuagenarians who would not have walked anyway, we chose the easy drive of a few minutes to Queens/Kings. On site the little touches were so vital from toothbrushes, office supplies, quality kitchen cutlery, first aid to the trademark beach bag of welcome goodies! After a delightful week, we accidentally took off with the garage door opener, and no problem arranged to mail it right back in eventual exchange for the physical therapy band my uncle left at the unit -- no extra charge. Thank you for quality and full-service worth every penny and then some.
