It is at this point of convergence that we have chosen to situate our residential community Hali’i Kai at Waikoloa. Perched on a bed of lava overlooking the coast, our luxury Waikoloa oceanfront villas take in the site's rugged terrain, fragrant blossoms, and ocean breezes.
Located in the esteemed Waikoloa Beach Resort, the oceanfront island home community of Hali’i Kai ("Spreading out to the Sea" in Hawaiian) is built on 29 acres in a neighborhood of unmatched luxury. Here, you'll find your sanctuary, your playground, your Hawaii island home.
Enjoy this rare opportunity to stay at this highly desirable ground floor luxury villa professionally decorated by Peggy Chestnut. This ocean view 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa is breathtakingly beautiful.
The gourmet kitchen has stainless steel appliances and granite countertops and provides everything you will need to enjoy your stay. The separate laundry room has a full size washer and dryer. This unit has AC and ceiling fans throughout.
Enjoy island breezes and the swaying coconut palms and lava rock framing the breathtaking Pacific Ocean Aloha style. The view captures stunning sunsets and amazing stargazing.
Hali'i Kai is located next to the Hilton Waikoloa in the Waikoloa Beach Resort approximately 18 miles from Kona Airport. This resort has a beautiful oceanfront multi-level pool, oceanfront open air fitness cabana and restaurant at the Hali'i Kai Ocean Club. The restaurant offers a selection of favorite Hawaiian cocktails and food. The resort has a tennis court and a basketball court for guests. Enjoy a walk along the beach to the Hilton right from Hali’I Kai.
The Waikoloa Beach Resort is known for its two championship golf courses, restaurants and shopping. The beautiful Anaeho'omalu Bay is in a protected cove and has a beautiful sandy swimming beach with lounge chairs under the majestic palms trees and offers sunset and dinner cruises, paddle boarding, kayaks and snorkeling.
There are two shopping centers; Kings Shops and the Queens Market Place, conveniently located about a mile away and offer an array of upscale boutique shopping, fine dining restaurants and fast food cafes along with a grocery store. Hali'i Kai 6B was a wonderful vacation for our family of 3. Being on the ground level with a view of the golf course and partial of the ocean was wonderful. Our two year old loved to run along the grass, as did we.
The condo had all of the basics, but no extras - which really wasn't a problem - but be aware that there is no extra beach stuff that some condos have so you will either have to buy that or bring it with you.
The pool facilities are worth the extra cost. The pool is fantastic, with a great area for kids which is separate from the rest of the pool. Great view of the oceans and it is not uncommon to see numerous whales and dolphins any time you happen to look out. The restaurant is another plus, especially if you are having so much fun at the pool that you don't want to go home for a snack and a drink! The fitness facilities are also a plus, with a gorgeous view of the ocean from the treadmill.
We loved our condo and the pool at Hali'i Kai so much that we found that we didn't go as many places as we normally would, although it is close to the shops and beaches.
We would absolutely rent this condo again.

Unit 6B was well located, across from the tennis courts. It was a long walk, or short ride to the pool, which was fine with us. When we arrived the carpet at the entry was very dirty and spotted throughout. We called the manager who sent our a cleaning service the next day. The unit was over cluttered with bulky furniture that made it feel cramped. It had zero beach stuff, and very little stuff for cooking. We have stayed at two other units in the resort and they were much better equipped.

We all had a fabulous time at the Hali'i Kai Resort and I have already recommended it to friends. I would make a couple of requests though ... include a jug for juice and a tea pot in the kitchen supplies. Some place mats to protect the kitchen table and plates (plastic) to use on the patio.

The ventilation to the second bedroom was so poor that the room would be comfortable only when the A/C would make the rest of the condo much too cold. During the entire 3-day period, we were not able to view the TV in the living room, despite repeated complaints. Read more
Thank you for your review. It seems the Zoning may be slightly off. As for the TV, All is working. As we disussed the process to turn it on. The TV tested well after your stay.
Thank you again!

We can't say enough good things about our stay at the Hali'i Kai condos. The complex was beautiful--immaculately maintained and very quiet. Our condo was in beautiful shape, with very high end finishes. The Ocean Club (pool, workout facility and restaurant) is scenically located with a spectacular view of the ocean (and whales!). The pool was never very crowded and was a great depth (3 to 4 ft.) for our kids. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Very nice unit and complete except for the Ginsu knife set. (If you're a chef, bring your own favorite knife). 6B is about 1/2 way between the gate and the pool, right across from the tennis court. Small Lanai but with ground floor exit to the grass not an issue. Super pool and poolside facility.
