The condo was clean and had a nice view. The major downside was it only had one key which made it very inconvenient. The key had to be kept in a lockbox just inside the screen door and there was no light to open the lockbox at night. We all found this very inconvenient. Overall like I said the condo was very clean and it had a nice view. It could have used a few more kitchen utensils. The bath towels were wonderful. Overall for the price it was OK. I would consider staying there again if it were not for the key situation.

The condo was nice and spacious for us (3 adults and 1 young child) with view down to the ocean and over one of the 2 complex pools. What really stood out for me was how well equipped it was. Lots of little extras like coolers, tupaware, local guide books, beach toys that made things that much easier. Directions from the airport were easy to follow (even in the middle of the night when we arrived very tired!). Lots of parking and close to grocery store.

A lovely condo in a pretty village on a wonderful island. Sitting on the terrace, watching the geckos jump and the wild turkeys run, hearing the palm leaves swish in the wind. The Pacific is shimmering in the distance, the observatories gleam white on the mountains.
It was a perfect vacation.

My sister in law who lives in Hawaii recommended this lovely place to us. My husband, his brother and mom joined us on this wonderful holiday. When we walked into the condo for the first time, we were met by a spacious yet cozy space. We loved the view from the balcony and enjoyed every breakfast outside, even when it rained. It was a great location, central to all other must see points on the Island. We had a wonderful time.
The only potential "cons" to the stay was the master bedroom being located in the loft. A loft bedroom overlooking the living room meant minimal privacy.
Other than that it was a perfect holiday location!!!

Breathtaking scenery, exhilarating golden sunsets, a relaxing atmosphere, cool nights and an evening parade of feral turkeys, goats and boars...one can experience this all with a stay at the Villas.
Looking for a place to stay during our teenagers' soccer tournament on the Big Island in 2006, we found a website that advertised units that just about fit our needs. However, the minimum nights' stay was more than we needed, so we contacted the owner and stated our case.
Jim was more than accommodating in relaxing the requirements so that we could make his unit our home for the weekend. Little did we know how enjoyable our trip would turn out to be.
The unit was very easy to find, very clean, spacious and provided amenities that made for a memorable stay. In our youngest sons words..."Can we stay here every time...?"
Conveniently located (for us anyway), it was 1/2hour to the tournament, less than 1/2hour to the beach and resorts, 45 minutes to Kailua-Kona and Costco, and an eternity away from the hustle and bustle of frustration and irritation.
Our varsity teams didn't fare well in the tournament, but we left our haven with refreshed and rejuvinated souls...we'll be back again.
