We traveled to Wailea after spending many childhood and adult years in West Maui, Kapalua and Kaanapali. I do not plan on staying on that side of the island anymore after our stay in Wailea and this condo. All the pictures you see are spot on in this condo and even better seeing the place in person. The Lanai is fantastic, spacious and was where all our time was spent when we were not out exploring the island. You have an unobstructed view of the ocean and the sunsets, unless you call a couple palm trees in the foreground an obstruction. Beach chairs, in excellent condition, are provided as well as a cooler.
The place was very clean and nice. We were greeted by a very friendly representative from Ali'i resorts who manages this unit. They were more than hospitable and they are there for you if you have any issues with the place but we had none. It was myself, my wife and two teenage daughters and all of us agreed that the condo and the Elua grounds were fantastic. Its a two bedroom/two bath with a great kitchen. We cooked three nights and ate out three nights but with your own BBQ on the Lanai and incredible view we could have and should have eaten at the condo more. The appliances are good and the cutlery was ok, the knives could have been sharper but that is my only negative of this place.
The Elua grounds are beautiful and very well taken care of. The beach is 150ish yard walk from the condo. The main private pool, for Elua residents only, is right along the beach, 10 steps away from the sand. When we were there it was almost empty daily and it was like having our own private pool. At the pool there are a ton of lounges and umbrellas but there is also a large lanai with an overhang for more shade including a fridge/wet bar for your drinks and more BBQ’s in case you want to cook there.
The Elua is between the Marriott and the Andaz Hotels and I can tell you that we were more than happy being at the Elua then any of those hotels. If we wanted to try a hotel restaurant or get a fancy cocktail we just walked over but having a 2 bed/2 bath condo for the same price as a 1 Room hotel room is a no brainer. The Elua was incredibly quiet and peaceful and we will no doubt be there again.

First time to Hawaii and fell in love with Maui. Our condo at Wailea Elua village was wonderful, the view of the ocean from the lanai was magical. The daily maid service was excellent and they were so nice and friendly. The condo was beautifully updated and comfortable. The grounds were lovely and very well maintained. It was very peaceful there which we thoroughly enjoyed. Mahalo!
Wonderful to hear. Thank you very much. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

“A wonderful "home away from home"”

Wailea Elua was the perfect place for our family. We wanted the privacy & comforts of home (kitchen, washer/dryer) instead of a week at a hotel with "everyone else" and #2303 was exactly what we hoped for. The beach below the complex was easily accessible -- and thanks to the owners for those backpack beach chairs! Ulua Beach (right there!) is great for snorkeling, and we saw lots of fish, and turtles! We were happy to find the footwash at the front and back of the unit, but wish they'd both been noted at check in. Our only disappointment was the inability to use the lovely lawn for hacky sack or frisbee. We realize that's all part of living in a condominium complex, but incoming families will want to know that anything active has to happen at the beach or the Wailea Elua guest lawn overlooking the ocean. Despite that, we'd gladly come again and stay in the very same place!

Everything was nice. Our one big complaint is that this is a lower floor unit, the walls are paper thin, and the renters above us were extremely loud, with a baby and a toddler crying and throwing tantrums all day and all night. We could hear them as if they were in the next room. It was not fun being woken up at 6 a.m. each morning to a baby crying. Wish they could screen people better and more strictly enforce "quiet hours" for those who are trying to relax on vacation. The condo itself is nice, in a great location, but can't figure out why the builder of the property put such poor sound-proofing in the ceilings and walls.
Thank you for your review. We appreciate hearing from you! We know we’re a bit behind getting back to you but we wanted to let you know your comments have been passed onto the home owner for future improvements. We would like to remind you of our "First Choice" booking status, returnee discounts and an “Aloha” welcome back gift for your next stay!

The unit was perfect. We especially enjoyed the views from the deck. While most things were nice the sofa/love seat were old and not very clean. The patio furniture was old and not very updated. Otherwise it was fine.
We are happy to announce that the couch has been replaced with new and the chair has been recovered with the same material to match. Also, new chaise lounge chairs on on their way.

This condo was clean and cool. It has access to a lawn and faces west towards the ocean. The kitchen supplies were more than adequate. The housekeeping service people were friendly and did a good job. The beach is an easy 5 minute walk through the landscaping and features excellent snorkeling.
I received the stay as a gift so I can't speak to the cost or value.

Upon our arrival we recived the best service ,The condo was very clean and modern . We enjoyed ever minute that we were there and have recommended to our friends that this is the place to stay. As we were told about this location from our friends Tina and Garth anderson ,They had stayed at your resort in June.
We enjoyed the breathtaking views everyday and the short stroll to the beach
