Description
Stable Cottage was originally a farm dairy that was converted into a holiday cottage in 2003. It is a wheelchair friendly ground floor centrally heated accommodation. There are three bedrooms which comfortably sleep 6; with two bathrooms, and a log burner in the sitting room. The large kitchen is well equipped and there is a separate dining room. Parking for two cars is just a few steps from the front door, and there is a small patio area with garden chairs.
The cottage will appeal to a wide variety of people. It is ideal for those wanting a quiet break, but equally it will appeal to those wanting an active holiday.
Cycling, walking along the Southdowns -- just minutes away by car; water sports, golf and tennis can all be found near this property. The historic cathedral city of Chichester is just a few miles to the west. Goodwood with its renowned race course and motor sports events is also nearby. The Flying Fortress near Yapton is great for younger children, especially for rainy days!
Dogs are welcome at a cost of £25/pet and a farm walk and enclosed paddock about 40 yards from the cottage is available.

Up to two well behaved dogs are welcomed for a £20 “pet fee” each. Dogs MUST NOT be left unattended at any time and are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture. Payment of the pet fee is made in cash upon your arrival.

The Barn may be used as a holiday home and must not be used for parties or any social events. Guests must not cause nuisance or disturbance to others in nearby homes. We ask that you enjoy yourselves indoors after 11:00PM and vacate the outdoor areas.

“Lovely accommodation”
My friends and I spent a lovely week in this clean and comfortable cottage. Daniel and Jo looked after us really well and we lacked nothing. Thank you for our goodies, we really enjoyed the farm eggs.

“Stunning”
Amazing accommodation. Big spacious fully equipped. Stunning location. Fantastic welcome basket. Downside...traffic along side of cottage. If you have a larger car then parking is not ideal. Caravan storage place and cottage is on the thoroughfare.asked to move our car 2 or 3 times during the week. But bare in mind its aug. Busy for caravans. Owners are on site so can feel a bit like Big Brother. Approached about size of car and son visiting.. car is an Alhambra so not exactly a bus.but biggy for me was being told you have to clean both bathrooms before you leave or a charge incurs??? Object to paying nearly 900 quid then being asked to do the cleaning!!. We always leave as we find anyway. Cracking accommodation but just be aware.

Response from the owner Hi Victoria, Sorry you had such mixed views about the cottage. The people carrier was a bit of a problem as it blocked our main front farm entrance but thanks for parking it better and solving the problem. Regarding the bathrooms, we only expect guests to leave bathrooms tidy for the sake of our cleaners ..not a spring clean, apologies if that was misunderstood. Please check with holidaylettings regarding your price as a week in the cottage is usually 730 pounds in high season. All the best, Jo
