A spacious house in a central location

Left on Nov 05, 2010 for a stay in August 2010

There were plenty of bedrooms (all with bathrooms) for the whole family which meant we had our own spaces. The living area was very spacious. The kitchen was not especially well equipped but as we ate out most of the time this did not bother us much. The garden would be good for eating out though we didn't use it. There is loads to do in the area and some great places to eat especially the …

Beautiful Cottage with lovely hosts

Left on Nov 18, 2012 for a stay in October 2012

Rented this cottage with my children and my Mum. We had a fabulous week. The weather was reasonably kind and we were able to get out every day. But to come back to this lovely property was the real treat of the holiday. Beautifully decorated, fantastic facilities with a log burner to keep us cosy. Cheap and cheerful

Left on May 14, 2010 for a stay in February 2010

Overall this cottage represented good value for money, and I can recommend it on that account.

On the good side, the furnishings were quite new and of reasonable quality, both in the living room and in the bedrooms.

On the downside:
- The diswasher was too small and too underpowered. It didn't get the crocks clean; many of the plates and glasses etc were just slightly dirty when we arrived; …

Alton towers is an easy drive as well. Overall cant fault this cottage, lovely owners made you feel very welcome too.

This little cottage contains all that is necessary for a great holiday in the Peak Districk. We found the location very good and central for visiting all of the area and it's attractions including Chatworth House,Matlock Bath, the Heights of Abraham and Alton Towers. Great pubs in Hartingham
and very good area for walking. The owners were always on hand but never made their presence obvious.

Modern, clean, great for large groups

Left on Nov 13, 2013 for a stay in October 2013

This property is really spacious, there were 10 of us and a few kids and there was plenty of space. The bedrooms are lovely, the property does have the 'wow' factor when you first walk in which I don't think really shows on the photos. It was lovely and warm and clean and the welcome pack is a nice touch. I would definitely stay here again.

fantastic cottage with everything you need for your stay

Left on Dec 18, 2009 for a stay in April 2009

Service we got was fantastic even down to the biscuits and milk and tea that was in for us arrivind. The cottage is pristine clean with everthing you need for your stay. The location was what we wanted in the country but close enough for the town. Nothing we didnt like would like at some time to return and would recomend it to family and friends thank you for making us feel very welcome.
