"A Wonderful Place in the Heart of Washington, DC"
Left on 12/10/2014 for a stay in December 2014 | Christiane CReviewed Dec 10, 2014Stayed Dec 2014
I was in Washington, DC for an anthropological conference and decided to rent an apartment instead of a hotel for the 5 nights in the city. I am very glad I did because my brother, visiting from Germany, came along and the apartment provided plenty of space for the two of us. Thanks to Charlotte's very useful guide he got a very good overview of the highlights in Washington. I liked guide as well with all the practical insider tips on transportation, shopping, etc. ....very well thought out!
And the apartment? It was just lovely, with a practical layout, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. Since I had to get up very early every morning I decided to use the sleeper sofa and found it very comfortable. The kitchen provided everything we needed and the whirlpool bathtub gave me a nice relief after a long day on my feet at the conference.
And Kevin, thank you for your prompt email responses and assistance prior to my arrival. I look forward to staying with you again in the future and will tell my friends about my wonderful experience with LuxBnB!
