Brookland is the best of downtown with large yards for city life. Comfortable neighborhood with lots of amenities. Easy to get to and from. Shopping strip two blocks away with restaurants, CVS and carry outs. Down the street is a large organic food store. New Olympic size recreation pool 6 blocks away. Three universities in area, including Catholic University of American and Howard University Divinity School right in the neighborhood.
