“Perfect for Adults and Kids!” We stayed at the Paradise Lodge a few weeks ago and had the most wonderful time. Our group had some couples and families with young children. The couples without children stayed in the room above the garage and were able to sleep in and not be disrupted by early wakers. Also, the adults hung out in the garage game room at night and had a blast while the kids slept in the main house. It worked out great. The big grass area in front of the house was perfect for lawn games and one day we were there we just spent the entire day hanging out on the lawn. The property is very secluded so you don't have to worry about cars or noise. Having the hottub was also great. We spent one day down a Speelyi Beach, which is less than a mile from the house. It was a nice beach, but fairly windy and the water was fairly cold, even in late July. The house was fully stocked with all of the amenities and very clean and the managers were great to work with. We will be coming back.

“romantic” We stayed for two nights to celebrate our 41st anniversary. The cottage was right on the water, very clean, and decorated beautifully - glorious fireplace - which Nanae had already set up for us (thank you!). Though we did not cook - had we wanted to, everything was available in the kitchen. The whole setting was breathtaking - and though we were not fortunate enough to see any whales - we did see an otter and two magnificent eagles fly by. The whole island is a romantic destination. If I could have wished for just one thing, it would have been to have a hot tub so we could have "bubbled" under the incredible blanket of stars.

Gig Harbor b&b

“Relaxing and comfortable stay in Gig Harbor!” My husband, myself, our toddler, and another couple with their toddler, were attending a wedding in Gig Harbor. Wanting to avoid staying at some hotel, we decided to book the Parsonage B&B.; The location was very convenient, the rates were totally reasonable, and the rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. After the wedding and putting the babies down for the night, we were able to relax in the hot tub out back. Great way to cap off the night of dancing. When we woke up, we had a lovely breakfast waiting for us. John and Mary, the owners, were friendly, welcoming, and considerate. We enjoyed our time here and hope to get back again soon, for another stay!

“Ideal Corporate Retreat!” We held our company’s semi-annual leadership offsite event. We wanted to do something different this year. We wanted a place that provided a different atmosphere, one that would quickly breakdown departmental and functional lines/barriers, spark creativity, build trust and foster team dynamics, and one that exuded fun throughout. Aspen Lodge met every one of our criteria, and even exceeded our highest expectations. I could go on and on about why this was the perfect setting for our corporate event, but I figured it would be best to hear directly from those who attended (see below). I extend my gratitude to All Seasons Vacation Rents for making this such a successful event for us. You folks went above and beyond (thanks for opening the Barn to us). You are a Top Notch Organization! • Having heard that we will be holding our next corporate event at this lodge as well, I lied to my wife when she asked if I had fun. “No honey, it was all work and no play, and unfortunately, I have to do it again in 6 months.” Of course I didn’t tell her that every night we played Basketball, Frisbee golf, Horse Shoes, Tetherball, Ping Pong, Billiards, Darts, hiked on the wooded trails, watched sports (on my choice of three Big Screen TV rooms), and poured myself drinks every night from the Full-size wet bar. Nope, that wasn’t fun? • That was the most productive offsite we’ve ever held, and in my opinion, it can all be credited to the venue. Whoever chose that place deserves a bonus. • Holding the conference each day in the barn was brilliant, it sure beat the usual hotel banquet room setting. • Trivia night in the barn and Line-dancing on the properties Tarmac was so much fun, thank you! • Thanks for inviting me this year; I learned so much about the business and had so much fun at the lodge. Can you please send me the contact information for the lodge as I’d like to hold my family reunion there next year?

“Family Memories Made Here” Ken and his wife have a wonderful cabin in a beautiful alpine setting that accommodated our multi-generational family of grandparents, parents, and teenagers along with three dogs very nicely. The big back yard allowed our two larger dogs a nice area to run and work off energy. The kitchen was very nicely equipped. Plenty of linens for our crew. Our granddaughters enjoyed their first visit to Seattle and this cabin gave us a comfortable place to unwind after busy days in Seattle.

About Washington

This Pacific coast state has an undeniable allure. The edgy cities, pristine landscapes and a hopping art scene make Washington ideal for any vacation. Seattle, the largest city, is an eclectic melting pot of culture. Starbucks, Jimi Hendrix and Microsoft have all called it home and have helped define Seattle as a forward-thinking place.

The state's inherent love of nature can be found regardless of where you are. The abundance of natural parks that make up Washington offer a rugged taste of Mother Earth at her finest, providing visitors with excellent kayaking, hiking, fishing and exploring.

Some of the places you will enjoy discovering include:

  • Seattle: In this city, quaint coffee shops keep you dry from gloomy skies. Once the rain clears up, head to the top of the Space Needle for quite the view! Later, picnic in the Olympic Sculpture Garden for some of Seattle's finest.
  • Olympic National Park: When you have had enough of the big city lights, this breathtaking space is where to head to get in touch with your roots. The UNESCO World Heritage site has managed to retain the setting exactly the way Louis and Clark discovered it in 1806. With 1000-year-old milky blue glacial lakes, this park is worth the adventure.
  • Tacoma: This urban city has its pulse on arts and culture and is known for its world-renowned glass artists. Some of the highlights for visitors include watching glass blowers at work in the Museum of Glass and Hot Shop Amphitheater and checking out the animals at the Point Defiance Park Zoo & Aquarium.
  • Spokane: As the state's second largest city, Spokane is known for its sunny days and outdoor activities. Riverfront Park is a popular spot with residents and visitors alike since it offers excellent views of the spectacular Spokane Falls.
  • Washington Wine Country: The state has over 400 wineries that flow across five regions, the majority of which are situated in the central and south-central regions of Washington. The Columbia River, Walla Walla and Yakima regions are becoming increasingly popular for their releases, and visitors can visit a number of the wineries located in these areas for tours and tastings.
  • Vancouver: This city forms part of the Portland-Vancouver metropolitan area and shares the origin of its name with its Canadian counterpart (both are named in honor of Captain George Vancouver). Its downtown area has recently undergone a huge revitalization project that has led the city to become a hub of arts, culture and entertainment.

When visiting the Evergreen State, there are so many sights to see in addition to outdoor activities and the buzz of the big cities. For families, theme parks in Washington State are a big draw. For culture lovers, museums in Washington State definitely make the grade. There are also a number of wedding places in Washington State, which make romantic getaways in Washington State very desirable.

One of the best ways to enjoy all that Washington has to offer is to make yourself at home in a vacation rental of your choice. If you want to be in the center of all the action, you can opt for a condo or apartment rental in downtown Seattle. If spending some quality time with nature is your thing, reserve a wood-side cabin in wine country or near a tranquil waterway. Washington State appeals to every kind of traveler, so no matter where you go or what you do you are bound to have the time of your life.

Ocean Shores WA. Exquistite 3 bedroom Condo
Beautiful Place

The Good: •THE VIEW •Walk to the beach in minutes •Roomy •The Price The bad: •You have to climb up 2 sets of stairs. You really need to be up that high for the best views, but they should warn people of that in the ad. I invited my cousins (ages around 86 & 90) to stop by since they were in Hoquium. Eek! (They both came anyway and made it.) •The sound carries weird. We had downstairs neighbors that enjoyed loud music and talking (yelling) over that loud until 1:30am. We could have sworn it was our next door neighbor. But nope. Our downstairs neighbor did finally keep it down after we went and asked them to. Well, at least until about 1/2 hour later when some female started screaming, slamming doors, and various thuds that we really aren’t sure what they were. The next morning they decided to saranade us with their obnoxiously loud music at 8:00 am. We were already awake, so chose to ignore it. Thankfully, they left on Sunday and we got two whole days of peace and quiet. The indifferent: •There were a few maintenance issues that needed to be taken care of •the dining table feels like it might fall apart if you lean on it too much •the furniture isn’t very comfortable All in all, I’m glad we stayed here. I would have preferred different neighbors though. When we booked, one of the rules was no parties. I had thought that it would be quieter. But maybe the owner of our condo doesn’t own them all.see more
The Coach House at Wildwood - Pet Friendly
Peaceful Location

The Coach House is charming, with tasteful decorations, comfortable furnishings, and two beautiful horses as neighbors. The property is beautiful, with walking trails and from the bluff- the best view of Mt Rainer ever. There is a trail that leads to a furnished beach area, perfect for relaxing and looking at the water or beach combing. The host is helpful and welcoming. All this needs is a welcoming golden retriever!see more

Comfy and cozy

This was a great place to stay for a long weekend. Close to Leavenworth. There were 5 of us total and we felt very much at home. The beds were comfortable and the decor was super cute. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. We would like to come back in summer time. … see more
Snowline Family Cabin #10 - LOG HOME, FIREPLACE, WIFI*, WASHER/DRYER, SLEEPS-8!
Rustic Get Away

This is truly a log cabin tucked away in the woods. Very comfortably sleeps six people; however, only one tiny bathroom. Note that there is no dishwasher in this unit... or cable tv, or cell service. They have a no pet policy, yet the cabin has a resident bat. It's small and adds to the log cabin ambiance. If you plan on cooking it is nicely stocked with equipment, but be sure to bring all the condiments and spices you will need. We loved how close this cabin was to the Mt Baker ski area and other nature activities. The development was beautiful with its own pond and stream.see more

Great Experience

Beautiful view, nice layout, perfect amenities... It was very clean, up to date, and secluded. Communication with the owner was quick and informative. Instructions on access to entry were very detailed and made it smooth and discrete to arrive. Definitely a hidden gem in south Seattle. Keeping this one as a fav for future stays!see more
1917 Roailroad cabin in quiet Skykomish Wa
Perfect and comfy house for a getaway or adventure

Only an hour and a half outside of Seattle, this beautiful cabin is a great escape in the majestic Cascades. The house was clean, well-organized, well-stocked, and very cozy. It was very comfortable for 4 adults. Plenty of space to cook and sit, and the patio was a real treat to soak up the wonderful summer weather. The backyard was a great place for yoga in the morning and tanning in the afternoon (we did have to run inside when a 1-2 year old black bear came by to snack on a raspberry bush, but that was quite exciting). Skykomish is very close to several outdoor activities in the Cascades, so it's great for the summer and the winter. I can't say enough good things about our stay here. Ken was extremely nice to work with, too! He provided great instructions and information, and he even called to check on us and make sure we were having a good stay. I highly recommend this cabin! Looking forward to coming back again.see more
