The Hibiscus Beach House at Lewis Bay

Park your car in the sparkling white clamshell driveway at The Hibiscus Beach House, bring in the groceries and you're done. Everything else you need is here.

While the folks back home swelter in the summer heat, you take a leisurely stroll to Colonial Acres Beach. You sip chilled lemonade and feel the cool sand between your toes while you relax in a beach chair.

Seagulls and sailboats delight in the gentle breezes as they zigzag the harbor. Your children splash and play in Lewis Bay, taking a break only when Dad asks them to help him catch minnows and fish in the channel. You feel all your cares float away as you enjoy some summer reading or ...Read more

Additional Location Information

The Hibiscus Beach House is located in West Yarmouth - the heart of Cape Cod. Our MidCape location gives you an advantage in convenience as all of Cape Cod is "Within Reach" - in fact that is the slogan dreamed up by the local Chamber of Commerce. Historic Provincetown is 47 miles east of us,
and Historic Plymouth Plantation (not really part of Cape Cod) is 50 miles to the west. Downtown Hyannis is only 2.5 miles away (free parking info at the house), shop, visit the Kennedy Museum, take a fishing boat, or take a ferry to the islands of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. Enjoy some music at the The Melody Tent, see a play, bike ride, play tennis, visit "hidden beaches" -information at our house. Kayak, go horseback riding, sail, whale watch, seal watch, take the family to an old fashion drive in movie (probably the last one in the country). Go golfing, or minature golf, go bowling, play pool, see a Cape Cod Baseball league game, take the kids to Baseball Camp. Choose from hundreds of restaurants within a 7 mile radius. There is so much to do on Cape Cod that its difficult to name all the activities here, which is why we have created a "Funlinks" page "online" solely for the convenience of our guests. Ask us about it.

Perhaps the number one reason guests come to Cape Cod (besides its quaint charm) are the beaches. Stay at the Hibiscus House, and all of the beaches of Yarmouth, Hyannis, Centerville, Dennis and Harwcih are within a ten mile radius. Yarmouth's main beach "Seagull" is 2.5 miles away, Colonial acres Beach (our local beach) is 4/10th of mile at the end of the street. We find that many of our guests like to visit the National Seashore and Nauset Beach both about a 25 mile drive. We also have a list of dog friendly beaches at our house.
So come for a visit, see some Lighthouses, Windmills & Gristmills, Go birdwatching, enjoy some ice cream, see Cape Cod Potato chips being made. It all waiting for you and at the end of the day when you are "good tired" the Hibiscus Beach House will be your little oasis in a sea of fun.
