My brief stay--only one night--at this charming inn exceeded expectations. It was total comfort! Elizabeth was a gracious and welcoming host. The gardens were enchanting, replete with very friendly critters who all but started a conversation with you: goldfinches, chipmunks, woodpeckers, tufted titmice and more.
I enjoyed the rare indulgence of a long hot whirlpool bath in a huge tub, and then sank into a wonderfully comfortable bed for a great night's sleep. This and the sumptuous breakfast prepared me for the long drive ahead (and I can say truly, that I've never had eggs cooked more perfectly!)
There were antiques, rugs, dolls, toys, tools, and so many interesting things to take in; I was especially impressed by the immaculate and very beautiful linens everywhere, especially on my bed.
Thank you Elizabeth, for a lovely experience, and if I'm ever back this way, I will see you again.
