Comments from guest "We really enjoyed our stay at the Wildwood. Robb the very helpful front desk person recommended suite 108 to me on the phone, since we have two very young children. This suite was at the back of the property, so nice and quiet, and it was ground level with a large patio and a grassy area. The kids loved running around and playing out there. It was really helpful when we had to be back at the place for our 1 yr. old to nap, we didn't feel like we were cooped up in our room since we could go outside. It was also really quiet for nap times and early bed times. Being in the trees back there also made it very comfortable and not hot in our room - and we were there during the heat wave over the Canada Day week. It's true there's no AC but we honestly were perfectly comfortable the whole time.
This place is not fancy but it was great for us, and a really good value for Whistler. It is just a bit of a walk or a very short drive to the village, and it is also just a nice trail walk to Lost Lake which is a great little beach.
The pool is really nice too, and we mostly had it to ourselves everytime we went.
We had a great stay and we plan on returning. If you want a quieter and much less expensive stay than in the village I would highly recommend this, especially for families.
And they are very honest! My 1 yr. old (the little stinker) pulled my brand new cell phone (still in the box) out of the suitcase and hid it somewhere. I hadn't started using the phone yet and had planned on setting it up while we were on vacation, but I didn't end up doing so. We kind of forgot about it! And even when we got home, I went back to work and was using my old phone - and then the Wildwood Lodge called me and asked if we forgot anything important in our room?! I felt pretty stupid, but I was really impressed by their honestly since I hadn't even contacted them.
We would recommend this place :)"

I went to Whistler for 10 days for Ironman Canada. Wildwood lode is awesome. Great unit with lots of room and beautiful private patio. Great view of the mountains from the pool and hot tub. Located on a very quiet street but a quick walk to the main village. Very friendly staff. I would definitely stay there again!

Great stay here for a biking trip. Staff very friendly and helpful and accommodation was comfortable. Good location and easy walk to Lost Lake for a quick dip after a long hot days riding or to the village in the evening for a beer and food. Would definitely come back.

Stayed at Wildwood in March of 2013. We had 4 nights in #108. The unit was clean, well furnished and appeared to have be updated not too long ago. We loved the fact that it was a ground floor unit w/ a patio and direct access for our 8 year old to play in the snow. Being from Hawaii that was a pretty big deal for her! It was a great value w/ just a short walk to base of Blackcomb (would've been ski in/out, but the trail was partially melted). No laundry in room, but close by and convenient. Jacuzzi was nice too : ) Would definitely book this unit again!

We had a very pleasant stay at the Wildwood Lodge. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful, the building is well locataed for ski-in, ski-out or a short walk to the village. They also have a great hot tub! We will visit again.

Overall I had a wonderful stay, although we did have a few complaints. The kitchen could have been cleaner - upon arriving the coffee maker had not been cleaned since the last use, and the previous filter and coffee grounds were molding inside the machine. Some of the kitchen drawers seemed dirty as well. Most of the staff were very helpful, but one woman was absolutely rude when my party of 4 asked for fresh towels. She explained that the lodge was at full capacity and they were running short on towels. We had not known this, and we politely explained that we would be more conservative with our towel usage from now on, but she refused to give us any new towels. When the shift changed and another person was working at the front desk, we asked again and were given fresh towels immediately.

Loved this place! The apartment was very neat and well laid out, the keyless lock was great for when we came off the mountain at separate times, and the hot top was lovely. It is a bit of a walk from the village (about 10mins) but very close to Blackcomb base. Would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed here many times and are always satisfied with the service of the staff. This particular unit is fairly basic, with no fancy upgrades, but is still functional and meets our needs. It could be maintained a bit better - one kitchen light doesn't work properly, the tap was leaking & one screen fell off the window, but other than that, it was fine. The building is in good shape & has a great location. And they have an excellent hot tub! We call the Wildwood 'home' whenever we go to Whistler.

The Wildwood property overall is a great spot, in a good location, with a pool & hot tub - perfect for families. Suite 108 that we stayed in is a bit run down..could use a paint job and a little TLC. It also could have been cleaned a bit better as there was crumbs/small pieces of garbage under the sofa bed, but otherwise was satisfactory.
“staff was very good building was very good manager was very help”

Most owners are upgrading their units but a few still need some work. Call in advance and you will not only get the best rate and a return guest discount, but you can take your pick of the properties. We can also advise you on which units have been upgraded recently.
We have also added FREE internet to ALL condos in the Wildwood Lodge and the 30+ properties we manage outside of the Wildwood.
Thanks for your comments.

We often stay at Wildwood and find the accommodations good & staff are always helpful. The free shuttle stops at the front door which is very handy.

The apt. as always was satisfactory but it could use some updating & painting & a few minor repairs where walls are chipped. The toaster although bright red did not toast very well. The rug is beginning to fray. The unit is great for us but others might want a bit more pizazz. We appreciate all you do to accommodate us.

We felt for the money paid, room 108 was drab and in need of a general refurbishment. We had a specific issue with the refrigerator which was old and very noisy which made it difficult for people to sleep on the pull out bed in the lounge. Overall location good. Would choose The Aspens next time.
