We had a great time staying at Mountain Star 25. We were a family of 6; parents, one married couple and 2 single adults. The house was great for ski in/ski out, outside ski storage, indoor parking, private hot tub, laundry facilities and best of all - heated floors! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for cooking. There were a few minor issues - the hot tub lid was waterlogged so it took 2 people to put the cover on and off, the bbq did not heat up to a very high heat, and a light on the oven was burned out so we could not see the oven temperature. In each case, when called, Aloha Whistler was very responsive and prompt with help and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. We have stayed in a Mountain Star property before, but this visit left an impression of how important the rental company is. Aloha Whistler gets high marks from us.

8 of us stayed at the Mountain Star 25 this year and we enjoyed the easy ski in/out access, new/clean appliances and the furnishings for the unit! Hot tub took some time to heat up but once it was ready, it worked great! Bathrooms were clean and well stocked with soap and towels. Washer and dryer also really came handy. It was a little far from the village but there's always a trade off for good ski-in/out locations...
If standard checkout times could be made to noon, that would be even better, although aloha did grant a late check out for us when we requested it the morning of.
I've stayed in Mountain Star #27 (2 bed/bath condo couple doors down) the year before and it was equally as impressive. Nothing short of a good, relaxing stay!

We love staying in the hills overlooking the Whistler village. It's largely quiet and beautiful. This particular townhome is standard from our experience of such mountain rentals. Everything you need (excepting deck chairs) is there...Nothing is particularly nice. The 2 exceptional items in our mind were a very well-stocked kitchen (appliances, etc.) and the provision of laundry soap, a help for travelers. We had issues with lights being out and cobwebs being left on walls when we arrived. We received courteous and quick response from the management company...though they actually failed to remove the cobwebs. I assume they just forgot. Oh...And, the one other liability of this place is no bathroom on the main floor. You have to either run upstairs or downstairs when you need one.
Thank you for your comments on Flipkey as we do appreciate you constructive feedback. The property has recently been updated and photo's will be available on our website from Sept 16th. Our housekeepers have confirmed the issue with cobwebs has been fully rectified and our staff have been notified to thoroughly check all properties prior to any guests arrivals to ensure these finer details are not overlooked. Thank you again, and we do hope to see you in the future.

I've already written a letter with regards to the problems that occurred within our stay at this facility.
The staff was nice and friendly, but the hot tub did not work properly. Some glasses and utensils were not clean and some were even cracked or broken.
The home itself was well furnished but the layout was a bit cramped for our liking.
We enjoyed the proximity to the shuttle and the ample guest parking.
