This beautiful, semi-detached barn conversion, a 1-mile walk from Whitby, sleeps four people in two bedrooms.Mallard Cottage is a delightful, semi-detached cottage set on the outskirts of Whitby in North Yorkshire. With one ground floor twin with en-suite wet room and one mezzanine king-size double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, this cottage can sleep four people. There's also an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburner, while outside, there is an enclosed patio garden with furniture, plus off road parking for one car. Mallard Cottage is light and modern, offering fantastic accommodation for couples, small families and guests with limited mobility. Minimum 3 night stay

Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Designated off-road parking for 2 cars. Patio with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 0.5 miles, pub 0.3 miles. Note: Cottage next to secondary school and small caravan park, some traffic noise can be heard at approx 8.45am and 3.40pm during the week. Note: *Electric Vehicle Charging:we do not have Electric Vehicle Charging points, the use of Domestic Chargers ('granny chargers' or 'trickle
chargers') or any kind of extension lead is expressly forbidden at our

Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
Town: Whitby in North Yorkshire remains one of the regions most popular tourist hotspots, and with good reason. The town is at the mouth of the River Esk, and this old fishing port retains mush character in its winding streets and hidden alleys. There is a picturesque harbour, sandy beach and the famous Whitby Abbey. Close to other seaside destinations such as Scarborough, Staithes and Robin Hood's Bay, Whitby is also ideally placed for heading inland and exploring the beautiful countryside of the North York Moors National Park.

The cottage was exactly as depicted, in a great location - just a short walk from Whitby town. So much to see and do in Whitby we will need to visit again.
