In warmer weather, rental can include use of charming little cabin in the woods perched on a hill by stream. Canoe, kayak, swim or power boat on Harriman Reservoir (3 ml.), quaint Wilmington offer shops and restaurants (8 ml.), historic Bennington has great museums, historical sites, agri-tourism (25 ml.), Mt Snow with winter skiing and snowboarding and summertime scenic chairlift rides, mountain biking and hiking (16 ml.), Zoar Outdoor & Crabtree Rafting has zipline, river rafting, kayaking, rock climbing (15 ml.), Marlboro College has regular concerts and art exhibits throughout the year and their music festival in July and Aug. (8 ml.), Brattleboro was named one of the top ten small art towns in the country,its downtown is packed with coffee shops, bookstores, and art galleries (25 ml.), Honora wine tasting room and Stone Soldier Pottery, Jacksonville (1 ml.) Great fishing in area rivers,streams and lakes. Several horse riding stables in the area. House is located on scenic VT 100, more northern portions of which were listed by Nat.
