The colors in the landscape are breath taking. The view from the beach on to the bay, the islands and the view of other side of owen sound bay, with the color changes made it very relaxing. The cottage itself is well maintained, clean and very comfortable. Its more like a house than a cottage with many upgrades. We had a couple of small issues and there person on call responded immediately. We found the home was big enough to escape for privacy and to accommodate our size family. We enjoyed it very much and would stay there again.

Very nice place with a view to die for. It had all the accommodations like home.
Beautiful view from living room and master bedroom. I enjoyed the fact there were two rooms with complete sofa it gave an area to get away. We enjoyed the fire pit my kids enjoyed the evening bomb fires. Would definitely stay there again.

the photos would lead you to believe that you will be staying in a well appointed cottage. Not the case! Everything has been done on the cheap. No central a/C upstairs. Just a nasty old window a/c in the Master Bedroom. No airflow for the other rooms upstairs, so bad luck if you wanted to use them. The Tub in the Master suite is old & nasty. Use the shower downstairs instead. The washer/dryer are in such bad shape- rusty, hard to wash your clothing without getting tons of rusty metal in with it. We rent cottages & cabins all over the USa & Canada & this is the first time we had to turn on the breakers, start up the fridge etc. From warm, it takes quite a while for a fridge to get cool, so don't plan on using it for an hour after you get there & turn it on. The whole place needs a thorough cleaning, as it would appear that it has not been cleaned for years. I spent the first afternoon & evening(4:30pm to 11pm) cleaning. We are not picky- We are hikers,we camp & sleep on the ground on occasion.
Thank you for your comments, we are sorry that you did not enjoy your vacation as much as others have. The cottage does have a forced heating system which does allow Air Conditioning to run throughout the cottage, there is an additional window unit in the master bedroom to make your sleep more comfortable. We apologize if you had troubles using it.
We inspected the tub and laundry facilities and didn't come across any problems with either of them.
The cottage owner has decided to leave everything running in the cottage in between rentals now, we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. There will no longer be a wait time for the fridge to get cool.
