This cottage was immaculate and tidy - very nice! Amenities/facilities were not luxurious by any stretch but they were more than adequate - we wanted for nothing. If you're looking for luxury, this isn't it, but if you want quiet, peace, relative seclusion and are not afraid of spending time without a TV or a hot tub, you'd probably like it here.

This cottage is very private. It is perfect for a couple who wants to escape the city and be alone in nature. The water is warm and very shallow for the most part, and the beach is rough with tall, coarse grass. The water was great for our young toddler, but the rough beach wasn't very safe for her.
The cottage was very clean and tidy. We loved the firepit and the view was beautiful. Bring bugspray because there are lots of biting bugs in June.
The site was essentially silent apart from occasional distant drumming (which I found relaxing) and some faint Friday-night music.
I would definitely return again just for the privacy, quietness, and the view.
“Nature and it's beauty, remote, quiet and peaceful.”

"If you are looking for nature and it's beauty, this is the right place.
It's remote, quiet and peaceful. The house is in good shape and the owners
are welcoming, lovely people. We enjoyed every day we spent there!

I was looking for a vacation spot that was very private and relaxing and this definitely fit the bill. My dog loved the lake and all the waterfowl. Ducks and loons galore in this sheltered little bay. I spent lots of time around the fire pit, walking the shores, and bbqing in the lean-to. Great memories!

Secluded and quiet with lots of beach to roam
even though the birds liked it too. Outside places for fire pit and picnics were great. Inside was very clean and every utensil you would need in the lovely kitchen. Needs a queen sized bed. but you can put two beds together. Situated in a great area to roam by car.

We spent here a couple days during picturesque Ontario fall. The location is great - right in the front of a lake, mornings and evenings were phenomenal, we saw dawn and heard the silence of the nature.
Great location, nice nature, good facility. Especially we liked the wood stove!
heated, wood stove, close to water, electricity, fireplace, very private, outdoor furniture, forest around, beautiful views. Phenomenal!
Things to improve:
One thing though - we believe that if the bathroom in the second bedroom were isolated the overall appeal and comfort level would be better.
Definitely will go there again and will recommend to our friends.
