A bronze moose greets guests with a “Welcome” outside this top-floor Aspens condo.
Step inside and find an earthy tile entry with a wood paneled wall sporting coat hooks. An entrance closet can store outwear along with its cleaning supplies. The first bedroom, just beyond the entrance, features twin beds topped by Southwestern bedspreads and backed by turned wood headboards. A tall thin chest features a TV/DVD player perched atop it. A painting of a galloping horse, wall sconces and a mirror decorate the walls. In the hallway, a framed map of Grand Teton National Park sets the stage for adventures outside, and a renovated bathroom is painted sunflower yellow to complement its tiled shower (a washer/dryer also shares the space). The great room encompasses the kitchen, living and dining areas, all under a cathedral ceiling. The open kitchen offers granite tile countertops, wood-paneled cabinets and twig drawer pulls. Frosted glass pendant lamps dangle above the gourmet galley. In the adjoining room, a pine dining table seats six. Nearby, a plush red couch is accented by a sage green armchair. A tiled fireplace is flanked by an upholstered bench and window seat, accented by many pillows. A painted armoire hides board games and a TV/DVD/VHS player. Sliding glass doors open onto a private deck with webbed chairs and a gas grill. Wildlife and landscape photography decorates the great room walls, and complements the two paintings picked for the place: a winter scene by Fred Hudson and an abstract American Indian pastel. Upstairs, an office area lies on the loft landing with a desk and armchair. Next door, a second bedroom boasts a queen bed with a wooden headboard and forest views. A renovated detached bath features a glass shower and sage accent tiles.
The Aspens sits a quick five miles south of Teton Village, and within walking distance of the Teton Pines Golf Course, as well as a gourmet market, well-stocked liquor store, two beloved restaurants (one Austrian, one Japanese), a bustling coffeehouse, a UPS store and a salon, among other conveniences.
