Description
Situated in rural East Dorset, close to beaches and the New Forest. We can offer a peaceful location with views to our local "Folly" of Horton Tower. the property is situated 6miles (10kms) from the delightful town of Wimborne Minster with its lovely Minster church with its unusual clock. Bournemouth with its famous beaches and excellent shopping and nightlife for those who want it, is only 15miles (25kms) away and the New Forest, hunting grounds of former monarchs, with free roaming horses and cattle in the villages is a short drive away.
Guests can be assured of a warm welcome and will find all facilities in the accommodation. Bed linen and towels are provided and there is a cooker,fridge, microwave, crockery and cutlery provided. The accommodation is set out with a double bed and a single bed and an en-suite bathroom. There is a fitted kitchen and a lounge for guests exclusive use. The lounge has comfortable seating and a bed settee able to sleep a further two people if required.
In our rural setting we often have Deer, foxes, Badgers, rabbits, hares etc visiting the garden, although they tend to be rather secretive.

“A home from home in the country.”
Clean, well appointed accommodation set in lovely countryside.. Hosts could not have been more charming and helpful. Facilities also good for wheelchair users.

“Relaxing 5 days away”
We arrived do be greeted with a warm and friendly welcome from the lovely owners , Doreen and Dennis , the bungalow was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed in it , the back garden overlooks beautiful countryside, Doreen kindly made us a delicious homemade carrot cake and gave us milk for our fridge , they gave us lots of information of places to visit , there are lots of lovely beaches and restaurants close by , we had such a lovely relaxing break , would highly recommend a visit to this beautiful part of Dorset

“Best self catering cottage so far”
The best trip i have been with freindly helpful house keepers next door who are very kind and helpful.... not to forget the yummy lemon cake was perfect with everyday morning tea n also left milk for us in the fridge... they wer both very freindly n kids loved the big garden and also not to forget the kitchen n cottage was very fully equipped... Best trip ever will defo go back.... thanks

“Perfect bungalow, Perfect location, Lovely owners, Perfect holiday.”
Could not have ask for a better family holiday, The bungalow is perfect, immaculate, quite & cosy with lovely views of surrounding countryside. The location is ideal to explore the many stunning attraction of Dorset. The owners Doreen & Dennis are a lovely couple who will always stop for a chat and ensure you are having a pleasant holiday. On our arrival we were spoilt with a homemade Lemon drizzle cake which i must say is a contender for the " The Great British Bake Off. ' Delicious.. Anyway if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Dorset I would definitely recommend Highlea. Thanks again Doreen & Dennis see you soon, Jeremy, Prapaporn, Frankie & Oliver. x

“Lovely accomodation with great views”
We had a lovely time at Highlea - the perfect place to rewind from our busy life in London. Doreen and Denis were great hosts, they gave us a lot of useful suggestions for our daytrips and the cake was delicious! Our daughter enjoyed the trampoline a lot. We hope to be back for another holiday soon!
