“Second Time Around” This was our 2nd stay at Ocean One 402. I am sorry to say this year the condo was the total opposite of last year in regards to cleanliness. We vacuumed as soon as we arrived and the furniture was thick with dust in every room. The bedspreads were very soiled, and carpet in living room was in dire need of scrubbing. Last year the place was immaculate.

“Nice stay” Quiet Villa close to beach. Nice pool and tennis court with little use. Villa amenities adequate. Furnishings fair, beds xtra-firm, but did the job. Could use some paint as of 8-11-13. But nothing disappointing. I will stay here again as the villa, the quiet area, close proximity to the beach, and the pool/tennis courts are a draw.

“wonderful! all the 4s should be 5 tablet trouble” We loved the island and the property. I would only note that the cleaning crew unloaded a trash bag of ours from the outside trashcan and left it in the street. We saw them do this as we checked out, but had to return our bikes. I would think the neighbors wouldnt be happy with their carelessness.

“Exceeded Our Expectations” We rented this condo for 5 nights starting on Labor Day. My husband and I arrived at the rental office early (1:15 pm) and we were able to move into the condo 30 minutes later. Seashore Vacations was great to work with. They were professional and very customer oriented and accommodating. The condo was very clean and had a remodeled kitchen and new living room furniture. The Master Bedroom overlooks the ocean and pool with its own balcony and 2 chairs. The main balcony is accessed through the Living Room and had seating for 6. We loved the ocean and pool views from both. The bathrooms looked like they too had been recently updated. They supplied enough paper products and soaps that the only thing we had to purchase was regular dish washing detergent. There was a ton of storage space throughout the condo. They even had chairs and floats for the ocean or pool. We did purchase an umbrella at the nearby Piggly Wiggly to use on the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We liked the layout of the condo with the Kitchen and Living Room on one side and both bedrooms and bathrooms on the other side. The Master Bedroom had a huge closet and more hangers than we needed. The pool and ocean were both a short walk - the access to both were just off the elevator. The pool was right below our condo and the beach right beyond the pool. The beach was clean and big enough that we were never crowded. There were showers between the ocean and pool area to wash off sand. The pool was cleaned and treated every morning and was delightful! Housekeeping did a great job and everything was very clean and well-maintained. The only minor issue was the closet door in the foyer which was difficult to open and close (maybe because of all the sand - this was where the beach chairs and floats were stored). But this was really no big deal. We would definitely return to Ocean One and stay at Unit 409.

“Quiet relaxation” We absolutely loved our stay! The condo is on the third floor, so there’s great views of the grounds, and a walking path to the ocean and pier. The Plantation was extremely quiet, and the people we did come across were welcoming and friendly. The condo was clean, cozy, stocked with necessary kitchen and even toiletries for the bathroom! That was a pleasant surprise. We spent most of our time sitting on the screened porch listening to the fountains and birds. The owner is very responsive to texts and emails. We definitely recommend this as a vacation spot, and will be back.

“Off season but a great time” Unit is great but understand it is a three story walk up. There is an elevator but it is very, very far away. Worked fine for us as both of us can always use a little more effort. Not too many amenities available in March.

“502 review” Overall very good. Nice pool and convenient to ocean and Coligny. However, read in an earlie review one bathroom shower did not drain properly. Was told it was fixed but it is not. Dining room chairs much too big for area -- awkward and couldn't get around table when all seated.

About Hilton Head

SAND & SUNSHINE: Hilton Head lies on the Intracoastal Waterway and encompasses 42 square miles of semi- tropical, Lowcountry geography, including unspoiled sea marshes, creeks and lagoons, heavily wooded forests of tall pines, palmettos, magnolias and live oaks, and 12 miles of broad Atlantic beach. The Island's weather is ideal for those wanting to soak up the sunshine with subtropical climate year round.

LOCAL EATS: Dining is a serious pastime on the Island. With access to both salt marsh and coastal woodland abundance, it's no wonder Island chefs make these fresh, local ingredients the stars of their menu. While our distinctive Lowcountry cuisine rightfully receives much attention, Island restaurants and eateries offer variety in both cuisine and atmosphere. From the casual-style barbecue joint to fine dining al fresco under starry skies, eating out at one of over 250 local restaurants satisfies.

GET OUTSIDE: Launch from heights of up to 75 feet as you zip through an ecotour with ZipLine Hilton Head. Eight interconnected ziplines fly over live oaks as you spot boats and Broad Creek below. Feeling brave? A 900-foot dual cable lets adrenaline junkies race to the finish line. For those happy keeping both feet near ground, the Island is a bicyclist's heaven with over 100 miles of paved pathways. Practice casting a shrimp net and pulling a crab pot aboard a hands-on water excursion or try the four-hour night shark fishing trip - local outfitters take families out to catch an up-close glimpse of nature's wonders and creatures. Dolphin fans will delight!

TAKE A WALK ON THE WATER SIDE: At the Island's six public marina villages, find shops, restaurants and plenty of ways to play. Broad Creek Marina in one of the Island's quietest neighborhoods, this laid-back marina offers water sports and nature tours.

A marina-in-the-round, Harbour Town Yacht Basin is surrounded by cafés, shops and galleries. This popular Sea Pines Resort destination features the Island's iconic candy-striped Harbour Town Lighthouse, water activities and family entertainer Gregg Russell performing under the Liberty Oak tree.

The relaxed setting on Broad Creek makes Palmetto Bay Marina a great destination for dinner and drinks. The North End's Skull Creek boasts three fabulous waterfront restaurants - Hudson's Seafood House on the Docks, an Island institution with a fishing fleet (they'll even prepare your own catch); Skull Creek Boathouse, featuring an outdoor buoy bar; and the stylish Chart House, where fresh seafood pairs brilliantly with Lowcountry ingredients.

Visit the home of Jake The Salty Dog at South Beach Marina with a fishing village vibe drawing visitors looking to relax by the water with a cold drink and southern food favorites.

3406 Resort Condo - Beach, 3 Pools, Hot Tub, Sauna, Tennis, Restaurants, Fitness
Nice Family Stay

Our family of 3 stayed in the condo during the middle of May, and it was perfect. Our son loved the indoor and outdoor pool. The Suana and hot tub was nice for us. The owners' responded quickly to any of our questions. For the price you can't beat it! The beach is quite a ways from the resort, so definitely invest in a beach wagon. If you go of a morning and return before Noon, a shuttle is available. Our son really enjoyed seeing local wildlife (birds, crabs, and turtles) from the boardwalk on the way to the beach. If you stay during "turtle season" when sea turtles come up to lay eggs, invest in a red light flashlight before your trip; no stores here had them in stock. If you enjoy pizza, Giuseppe's is a must! Harbor Town is also a must especially if you have children, entrance is around $10 but parking is free after that. Coligny Beach is also a great place to visit. As far as the resort, all staff was friendly and helpful. Most everything you need is supplied by the owners. Make sure to bring your own hair dryer if you need one. Also if you're a coffee drinker bring your own filters. Also, bring your own beach/pool towels. The owner's supply a couple beach chairs and a beach mat. All in all it was a great trip and we will definitely return!see more
Newly Updated Sunny Coligny Beach Villa
Great location!

Nice 15 minute walk to beach; condo conveniently close to restaurants and stores. Attracted to open layout in pictures and did not disappoint. Perfect for us and our 2 adult kids. Only one full bathroom with a half bath but it worked. Old shag carpeting made the condo look tired. I really liked the idea of a private grill on back patio to cook a few meals during our stay; it was usable but barely. Should invest a few hundred in a new grill. The condo pool was very nice and not crowded when we visited.see more
Oceanfront Resort: Clean and Comfortable: Walk to the beach
Good overall

We loved Hilton Head! It was very quiet while we were there and the water was perfect for children (3 & 1). The indoor pools perfect for getting out of the sun for a bit and never crowded! The walk to the beach is doable but not recommended for a pregnant woman with 2 small kids! We couldn’t figure out how to have the ceiling fan in bedroom on without the light and messaged to find out but didn’t get a response until after we had checked out. We also couldn’t get water to stay in the bathtub to give our small kids a bath which was VERY aggravating but we managed. Having to pay 1.50 to wash a load of towels was not to great either (was a quarter short to dry them for 1.50 so they hung dry) when been used to having in room washer/dryer On the plus side it seemed to be the cleanest place I have stayed in awhile. All staff that we encountered was very friendly, nice, and helpful.see more
35 Dune Lane - Southern Comfort
Perfect place for family reunion

Amazing view just a stones throw from the beach (private walk to the beach). Spectacular pool and kitchen. Plenty of outdoor seating for lounging by the pool or eating near the outdoor grill/kitchen. Short walk to shopping, etc. All rooms have private baths. 6 kids shared the "kid bunk room" on the top floor - they absolutely loved it. Ample parking for 6-7 cars. Would love to use the house again in a year or two!see more
Tennis Master 1101 Private and Recently Updated, 5 Minute Walk to the Beach
Clean, lovely, family friendly condo.

We very much enjoyed our place. The owners were a pleasure to speak with. They would get back with us very quickly with any questions we had. The pools were closed while we were down there, that was a bit of a disappointment, however not the fault of the owners. Masks also were required once we got to Hilton Head, so be sure to bring some (we didn't and struggled to find some). Would certainly stay here again.see more

cute and cozy

I enjoyed this location. Very kind owners who were accessible and down to earth. The condo was perfect for two love birds who want the balance of being close to ask of the attractions and comfortable enough to go nowhere! There was also room for kids we just didn't bring any.. we used the second room as a dressing room.see more
