Additional Location Information

We are maybe a little over half a mile from the highway. It a small neighborhood called 'Paradise Estates' so children, play outside in the snow. Very safe place to live and vacation. Cars already drive very slowly due to children, biking, skate boarding kids in the road, and primarily around dawn and dusk the plethora of wildlife we have that come out to play and graze. Tons of dear, from our Mommas and Poppas to their yearlings, It is such an experience to keep up with their stages and watch them practicing for their first 'buck battles' before leaving Mommy to be independent. We do have black bears and Spring and early Summer is the time if you are lucky you will spot Brown Bears and poss. cubs.(Trash and Recycling are on Monday, depending on your stay just make sure you bring in the cans, Saw one last summer, as neat as that was for me to witness...a minute or so later I saw three bouncing black baby bears catching up with her. I wasn't in quite the right position to get a great photo (Also, a word to the wise 'if the bears are very close we don't recommend going too closely with cameras as the mother is obviously quite protective.) Other than that they just mind there own business for the most part. You will see all kind of birds, foxes running up and down the hill, sometimes with a chipmunk in its mouth. They are very small foxes and relatively harmless as we have seen the neighborhood cat running after it. Quite a site from the mater bedroom, its almost like you're own personal picture show:)

The master bedroom and en-suite bath have a garden tub with jets, and a separate shower with double vanity. The bedroom is very tranquil (we do live here half the year) so some of our clothes will be there. However, there will plenty of room for your things. We have a Celebrity Tempurpedic Cal King bed that is just fabulous. With a Tommy Bahama quilt, and one at the end of the bed--(the hope chest) in case you need extra blankets. We will leave you more instructions when you check in about the home, where to find things, and local attractions along with our personal favorites. Sites, restaurants, etc. The guest bathroom that accompanies both the other 2 bedrooms has a nice sized bathroom with regular size tub and shower as well as sink. If your stay is 2-3 nights I try to keep it as much as a B & B as we can with toiletries so you shouldn't need to worry about bringing those.

The bedroom down the hall from the master has two brand new and very comfy twins, with 'dusky rose DKNY' duvets, and a chest with two shelves, three drawers and a closet.

The third bedroom has a king size bed as well, the luxury linens. All of our beds have luxury sheets that are 100 % Egyption Cotton and a minimum of 600 thread count. The living room and the dining room combine as one large room with a big sectional and a stone fireplace surrounded by art. It is gas, but the nice thing it heats up the 'entire room' in 10-12 minutes. Leave it on a bit longer if you are cold and it literally warms the whole house. Additionally, we do have a heat with a built in humidifier.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need for a gourmet meal. We love to cook. There is also a skylight in the kitchen and the guest bathroom...

Italian blue and grey marble easily fits eight. Although we have to mismatch some chairs. If you are cooking a gourmet dinner or holiday meal. Feel free to use our china and crystal for the adults. Regular plates, glasses, for any kiddos under 15 please:)

Additionally, we have a 750sq ft. finished basement is downstairs that you may park your car in the garage, and enter through the door. To your right you will say the full bathroom, the stackable Kenmore Washer and Dryer. In the basement for your viewing pleasure we clean our windows professionally twice a year. The finished basement contains a full queen bed, a beautifully renovated cherry wood desk refurbished. Behind our two vintage Hurricane Lamps. There is armoire, and sits 52' inch LCD with wireless, Netflix, and most all of the cable channels you could want. Also a comfy leather couch, rug, coffee table, with bookshelves full of reading material.
