Star Light

Beautiful apartment in the Eixample district and a few blocks from the Rambla Catalunya.

The apartment

Dazzling flat in the quiet and well-communicated Esquerra de l’Eixample. It has two delightful bedrooms and bathrooms, a kitchen and a large living-room/dining room. The contrast between its classical and modern furniture results in a welcoming and tasteful decoration. The stoneware alternates with the hydraulic mosaic tiles, so typical for the Modernism movement. Through the many windows, Barcelona’s sun flows in a gentle light.

Additional amenities include: coffee maker, elevator, kitchen utensils provided, shower, water kettle, vitro ceramic, ...Read more

Additional Location Information

The neighborhood
Located in a fatuous building of the Eixample and totally equipped with all kind of conveniences, the flat is perfect for three or four guest that wish to enjoy the centre of Barcelona but live in a calm neighborhood.
It is near the Diagonal Avenue, and close to the Mercado del Ninot and the Corte Inglés. The original Mercado del Ninot is being renovated. It is more than 100 years old and a bit removed from the touristic areas of Barcelona. There, you can buy all kind of fresh or canned produce, fruits and vegetables, at reasonable prices and of best quality.
The neighborhood has all kind of services, boutiques, restaurants, coffee shops and bars. Not to mention a lively college environment and a hospital!
Its long, straight streets characterize the Esquerra de l’ Eixample district —newer than the Dreta de l’ Eixample—, a strict grid pattern crossed by wide and sunny avenues, and square blocks with chamfered corners, whose trees pitch needed shadows on the sidewalks. Its geometrical distribution, homogeneous but full with contrasts, makes it difficult to get lost in them.
Public transportation
Nearby access to subway and busses.
