Additional Location Information

The neighborhood
Thirty meters from the apartment, Gaudi’s avenue, a pedestrian street 700 meters long, connects the Sant Pau Hospital —an emblematic work of the Catalan modernist movement and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997— with the Sagrada Familia. All along the promenade you will find coffee shops and restaurants, and from their terraces you’ll be able to enjoy a glass of wine, while you admire the grand architecture of those constructions. Pay attention to Pere Flaqués modernist lamps that light the walk, or Fenosa’s sculpture El bon temps perseguint la tempesta.
A 15 minutes stroll will take you to Paseo de Gracia, one of the most gorgeous avenues of Barcelona. The chic boutiques alternate with two of the most important buildings of the city, Antonio Gaudí’s La Pedrera and Casa Batlló.
The Gracia neighborhood, a cast away, is an alternative and avant-garde district, with a rich cultural life, narrow streets and large squares, where you will find all kind of exotic dishes.
Public Transportations
Subway station: Sagrada Familia (L2, L5 and purple line, blue line).
