Superb large first floor apartment situated in Tadcaster Road directly opposite York racecourse within walking distance of the city centre. Allocated off street parking a big plus. Convenient position to access the A64 ideal for those wishing to explore the Yorkshire Dales and the local countryside - National Trust property walking distance of the apartment. Approximately 20 minute walk in to the centre of York, for the Minster, and mainline railway station. Bus stop right outside apartment with regular services in to the city and surrounding areas (including Whitby and Scarborough). There is also Park and Ride services and Leeds City Express which takes you in to the centre of Leeds in 35 minutes.
The area has a wide range of amenities nearby including a large Tesco superstore (24 hours except Sunday). The historic city of York offers a wide range of restaurants, coffee shops, two theatres and an abundance of shopping facilities. There are several good pubs and restaurants within walking distance of the property.
The apartment comprises of a large living room with a bay window to front offering superb views across the Knavesmire. Fully fitted kitchen/breakfast room with fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, electric oven and gas hob, microwave, toaster and kettle. Large bedroom with king sized bed, built in wardrobes and even a hairdryer provided. Large newly refurbished bathroom comprising modern shower and separate bath.

“2nd stay at the apartment”
Lovely warm apartment. Well equipped and beautifully decorated. Convenient for bus route, or you can have a twenty minute walk into the centre of York. Enjoyed our stay and would happily come again.

“Wonderful stay”
The apartment was very spacious and clean, with lovely views and a great bathroom. The bedroom was very comfortable and Gary was very kind to have provided the essentials as well as bread, milk and eggs. It was very convenient as only a 20 minute walk from the city centre and I would definitely stay here again.

“Fantastic Apartment”
We spent 3 days here over New Year and were delighted with the apartment. It is spacious, well equipped, very comfortable, nicely decorated and extremely clean. The location is perfect, only 20 mins walk from the city centre and the views are stunning. Gary the owner was very helpful and kindly allowed us to check in early. We would definitely stay here again and have already recommended the place to a number of our friends.
